Against all odds and most of your predictions, Britney Spears arrived at court a little before one in the afternoon. She was dressed pretty respectably (for her) and, of course, wore her favorite boots. Ugh, also her lips look ridiculous. The paparazzi swarm was bigger than ever awaiting her arrival. Inside she is expected to be requesting a return to 50-50 custody. Plus, she will give a deposition, but against Federline's lawyers wishes, the judge ruled this morning it will not be video taped. We'll keep you updated as the news comes in, but for now — Brit doesn't look so bad, right?
Update: TMZ reports that all media has been asked to leave the courtroom, but that both Britney and Kevin are there and have been sworn in. There is also a lawyer for the California Department of Children and Family Services there.

5I cannot believe that girl wore that to court. Someone needs to tell her the value of dressing appropriately, and I just don't see that as appropriate when trying to ensure you get custody of your children.
Sheesh. At least put away the boots this one time, or wear a nice skirt and a blouse or something. I mean, I realize she's not the most traditional of people, but court is a super-serious thing. This is not the picture of a super-serious woman.

38How can she convince a court of law that she is capable of providing a safe, nuturing environment when she dresses like that? Wear a suit. Be conservative. You don't have to change who you are as a person, just show that you are capable of handling serious matters - be it court or a childhood illness. This outfit is casual and flippant, an insult to the courts. I never thought I would say this, but I hope poser Kfed wins full custody at least until she can overcome her problems.
