Gwen stopped by MuchMusic Studios yesterday sporting her new look to promote her new album. We aren't crazy about the blonde wig, hopefully she'll move on to something new soon. Our favorite accessory of hers, Kingston, was also missing. Boo. We love seeing Gwen's little fashionisto. Gwen recently admitted what inspired her to have a baby in the first place. It turns out it was the celebrity pregnancy trend that she, no doubt, picked up on in gossip magazines. She says
“I got caught up in the whole celebrity-pregnancy thing....I am like everyone else who enjoys a bit of nasty gossip. Like, don’t let me open one of those magazines, because I can’t put them down. We’re all addicted to it; it’s gross, but it’s entertaining.”
Gross??? Well, sometimes when certain people forget their underthings it's gross, but other than that, we totally love it too! Gwen is also expected to perform at Monday's Billboard Awards. 4She wanted a baby forever, though. She sang about it all the time. I think she just means the craze got her excited and pushed her over that hump - you know the am i ready hump.
5The hair is gonna take getting used to but shes known to be a little crazy with it. Yikes.. well she prolly meant it in a baby fever way, everyone else was havin kids and she started wanting one to. I know how that goes.

6i'm actually starting to warm up to the wig (are we sure it's not her real hair?), i hated it at first with that brown-red lipstick but now i think it's very "groovy baby". i love that she's evolving and changing her look without losing herself.

11How come her kid is always referred to as her accessory? A child is not an accessory, nor should be thought of as such. I would be kinda agitated if I was thought of as an accesory. Maybe that's why alot of irresponsible people are having kids these days-they are the newest, hottest accessory...sorry just a weird train of thought. It's not angled just to here and the poster. Ive seen her child referred to as an accesory on other pages and publications and I was just wondering...If her kid is an accesory to her, that's pretty screwed up.
12i know what she means by gross. i mean, if you think about it, how much time do we all spend on pop or reading gossip magazines or getting upset or angry over people we don't know a real thing about and will probably never meet? it's weird. telling an actor you're a fan of their work is like going up to someone and saying, "so, i really loved that powerpoint presentation you did two years ago"
13I don’t know about you, but I spend all day on pop I call it worksugar and Im here for the convo not the gossip anymore honestly so I don’t think that is gross, what is gross are the paps and there ever quest for snatch shots and nip slips the things wed rather not see.

16toxxic, i'm the same way. when you sit all day in a cube at a computer you just want to TALK to somebody! it feels good not to be isolated.

26I love her.. and the wig is cool. It doesn't bother me half as much as nasty ass hair extensions from other celebs. She has always had her own unique look and style.. I will always LOVE her. Besides the wig is probably easier than maintaining the dye job with the music, hubby, Kingston and clothing line.

30oh let me tell you about the time i met him Jinx....i thought i would pee my pants! i saw him when i was like 13 when he was still with BUSh but sat in the nose bleed sections..then i saw him at a smaller venue and was very close but no meeting..then the last time i saw him was at the Roxy in hollywood when he was touring with Institute and while waiting in line outside he came and met a bunch of us in the line...he is just sooo hot and his accent! if i wasnt with my bf at the time i might have done somehting i might have regretted later!! he give my Matthew a run for his $$

31I don't like this new look of Gwen's, but I've never really liked her style anyway. She's an amazingly talented artist, but her clothes are just too out there for me.
I love celebrity gossip, and I don't find it gross ( except for anything that has to do with Paris). But I do sort of feel embarrassed by how engrossed I can get with what celebs are wearing and saying and yeah, dating. But it's escapism for me...I enjoy it just like I enjoy reading and writing and gardening and spending time with my kids or my boyfriend.

36OMG Sarah! I just read your post. You got to meet Him?!!! Omg I'm excited for you. I wouldn't have known what to do either. I saw him with Bush, and it was the loudest concert I've ever attended. The girls just wouldn't stop screaming!
