Yeah, even if we all figured she was pregnant, he has no place announcing it or talking about it really. It is her prerogative when and if she wants to announce it. Since when has it become you have to announce your pregnant anyway?

Exactly, roxy. It's no one's place to announce pregnancy unless you're the couple expecting. Even if it's just a group of friends, it's the couple's choice as to when to tell individual people or groups.

i agree erratic!!! I wasnt shy about telling everyone i was having twins when i found out at 7 weeks. I agree that they dont have to announce it...but its kinda of dumb not to when its painfully obvious. These people are under constant public scrutiny and for someone like j-lo...who has talked about wanting babies...its strange for her not to come out and just say, Yes, Im having a baby...thats why im wearing tents. Instead she publicly denied(or should i say lied) that she was pregnant at all.

I think its all funny...this new "not announcing" trend. Who do they think they are fooling....lol.

Since she seems to be having some monetary troubles of late...maybe she will use her pregnancy now to sell a cover story to a magazine? Pitiful.

The fact that some would "tell everyone" proves my point - it's an invidual thing is so many ways, and should be up to that person, not what those around them think is the right timing.

My comment is about the Brooke Shields little accident... It is so dangerous to drive wearing high heels that I thought a woman her age should know already that it's safe to keep a pair of flats or comfortable shoes in the car just for driving! I made that mistake once and it was a lesson!

I drive better in my platform heels. Easier to reach the pedals.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a confirmation. I think really - the reason these people don't feel the need to keep it a secret is because its bloody obvious!

I love that story about Brooke Shields!!! I keep flip flops in my car for that reason!

For some inexplicable reason, I see her and Christina's nonconfirmation in a different light. In Christina's case it seemed that she was trying to keep a low profile adn doing normal expectant mother things - preparing for baby, taking time off of work, etc. In J-Lo's case she is on tour, on DWTS and the like - thus drawing attention to herself. Maybe it is just me but that is my observation.

At the end of the day however it is their business to do and (not) say as they please.

JLo will most likely do the same thing that Christina did. There's no reason to make a public annoucment.

idawson, I agree with your comment. There does seem to be a huge difference between Christina and JLo. And I'm not referring the the ass size. hee hee just kidding. But I think you're right.

Remember, though, Christina was touring until just a couple months ago when she finally took time off for "her health." If she's 6 months and JLo is 4, their timing is pretty similar.

I do think Christina's been more low-key overall.

I mean Jennifer Lopez isn't doing a very good job of hiding her pregnancy anyhow. Every time you see her she's wearing something big and flowy to cover her bump, plus its beginning to become very noticeable. She's also starting to put her hand on her tummy like most pregnant women and walk like it too.

Love the Brooke Shields story! I think it's great that she can laugh at herself too. Who hasn't done stupid things before and after all that's why they call them accidents, right? LOL nice to have some comic relief.

I've always thought that J Lo needs to get over herself! This whole trip she's on about not announcing her pregnancy and avoiding the question rather than embracing it is another way to come off as a princess who is just somehow too special for her own good!

I agree idawson, given what's going on for J Lo right now in her professional career, her and Christina come off very differently. Not only that, Christina has always seemed much sweeter, warmer and sincere than J Lo.
