Ashley Olsen opted out of traditional Halloween fare, instead spending last night at The Police concert at MSG. Absent from her side for the first night this week, however, was her new "friend" Lance Armstrong. Oh yeah, you read that right, it wasn't just one fluke night that Lance and Ashley were seen getting cozy around Manhattan. There have been multiple sightings of the two on dates and making out in public. The 15 year age difference is only one of the weird parts of the pairing — though Dear wants to know what age difference is too much? Hey, if it makes them happy that's kinda awesome. Now, I just want some photographic evidence.

2Why do I feel gross when I think about them together? I mean he's only 14 years older than her, right? I've seen worse, but it still just grosses me out.
And do we even know this is true??? There is the gossip and all these claims of them making out but no pics. It took us like a year to finally get a grainy pic of Reese and Jake kissing, I think I'll wait for Lance's and Ashley's grainy kissing pic. They sure get pics of her walking around drinking Starbucks, they should be able to get one of these many making out moments.

13I think the creepy factor is that she's 21. Yeah she's legal, but barely and even tho I live in Austin, not everyone here loves him. He seems like a jerk from the times I've been places where he has.

21I don't think its the age difference as much as where the individuals are in life. If a successful 40 year-old woman wants to marry a 62 year-old man I don't know if I would think as much about it (but it would be like sleeping with grandpa...gross!) but in these cases where the woman is so young, so much to learn about herself and what she wants from life....its just creeps me out.
22I've never liked the idea of older men with young girls. I actually find it disgusting. From the girl's perspective it's easy to see that the attraction from an older man probably makes them feel more adult. But what is going on in the heads of these (emotional immature?) men?

I don't think Lance is the "good guy" that I thought he was in regards to dating - he has a bit of a reputation. If this is true than I've decided he likes his women ultra thin..........blech.
26Re the age difference, if it were ALMOST anybody else, I might not care as much. But it's an Olsen twin.... the same Olsen twins that older perverts everywhere were counting down to their "legal" birthday. It may be unfair, but this particular coupling makes me think of that and it grosses me out.
And like someone else pointed out, if she was 40 (and he had the equivalent age ratio), that'd be different. But 21 is a little bit too young...

48I don't think it's that huge of a deal. Tom and Katie have the same 15 year age difference and no one's freaking out over them.
49But Katie was 27 when she started seeing Tom, and some people are bothered by the age difference. The older you get, the less significant that age gap seems, but at 21, it's quite a bit different to be dating a guy in his late 30s, who is divorced with kids.
