Ben was front and center at Jennifer Garner's official Broadway debut in Cyrano de Bergerac, alongside her illustrious costars Kevin Kline and Daniel Sunjata. Afterwards Jen flashed her big grin alongside her director, David Leveaux, at the after party. It's been a never ending string of red carpets for Ben (he must have accrued quite the suit collection), but this one was probably one of the most special. You were overwhelmingly positive about the chance to see Jennifer during her 10 week run and it sounds like it's all deserved. The New York Times described Jennifer as "captivating," "comfortable" and that she "radiates megawatt beauty." It has been quite the fall for the Garner-Afflecks. Ben and Jen are both rolling in the good reviews today — yay — but their daughter is always going to get the most gushing raves.

This time the gushing raves all belong to Jen!!! She looks as beautiful as ever and it sounds like she got a great review from the New York Times. So glad that Ben was able to be with her on her special first night. These two have got to feel good right now about where they're at professionally!
1OMG, it was WONDERFUL! I can't say enough about the stellar cast of "Cyrano" - Kevin Kline was subdued and simply amazing, Daniel Sunjata was almost perfect, Chris Sarandon did everything but twirl his moustache and tie a virgin to the railroad tracks, but did it in a sneaky and underhanded manner. And Jennifer Garner was spellbinding. So beautiful yet so believable and approachable and worthy of the affections of Cyrano. I thought she would be good, having initially come from a theater background, but she was even better than I though, and I'm not just saying that because I like her personally.

34I saw it in previews and the NYT hit the nail on the head. Jen exceeded expectations and looked radiant. I had the pleasure of meeting her afterward and she was friendly, excited, and kind. I wish her all the luck in the world.
I have to say, though, I didn't notice until then that she has *huge* hands. Look at those pictures and compare her hands to her face. HUGE.
Still love her forever, of course.
