Some of Hollywood's most well respected actors — from Julia to Helen to Jennifer Connelly — came out in LA last night for the 16th Annual BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards. Kate Winslet went from her casual LAX look to stunning on the red carpet to receive the Artist of the Year Award. Reese popped over from her Children's Defense Fund event in the same dress to pay homage to some of her colleagues. Denzel was also among the night's honorees receiving the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. That's a mouthful. 6Hm. I love Reese's dress...although I agree she has been wearing the same type of thing lately, it's my favorite of the bunch. I also love Jennifer Connelly's look and her bracelets actually, but she always looks beautiful. She and her hubby seem so cute and in love. Kate Winslet's face looks pretty, but I'm not feelin the dress. Silver is not her color. Helen Mirren looks lovely, I like her dress...she knows what looks good on her. That one pic of Helen and her husband is sweet, they look so happy!

16Helen Mirren looks fabulous - as always. I wasn't sure about Kate Winslet's dress when I first saw it, then I saw the picture that shows it as a full length gown - which is better, but I'm still iffy about it.
I had the exact same thought as other commentors above regarding Reese's dress - she looks stunning, but she has done the cocktail dress look to death. I can't wait to see her do something different.
