While we eagerly await the Spice Girls' return to the stage later this month at the Victoria's Secret show, here is the music video for their new single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)". The video premiered this afternoon on The Today Show website. You guys weren't so enthusiastic about the song, but maybe seeing the girls all together again will change your mind. The star of the video is Geri's abs, which we all know look phenomenal these days. I must admit it's kinda funny to see Posh singing (or, lip syncing) again, especially in her sassy black contraption. Check out the video and then let us know — love it or leave it?

11what i don't understand is why they put in scenes of them singing half naked. i thought the funniest one was when they tried to pull that on scary in her bra - that was hilarious attempt and geri's body is fab - but really, was all that skin necessary for the video? and if so, why is baby and sporty in it too?

20Sounds like they're lip syn-king to their own music. I don't hate it, but i don't love it either.
21They're trying to copy that old George Michael video with all the supermodels lip-synching (what is that song ... I absolutely love it). It is so obvious and so weak compared to George Michael's.
It's too bad b/c I was psyched for them to come out with another catchy tune, but this is dullsville.

24I thought that was really bad. I mean what was the point in that video? There was no point and I think they could have put something together that followed the song. I don't like their music, never have, but I thought i would give the video a shot....nope.
25I loved it. I am still not a big fan of the song but seeing them all together again made me forget I was listening to a crappy song. I wish HBO would do a special of them on tour like they did with Justin Timberlake. I would totally watch if they did.

31I think I have a few issues with this ENTIRE Spice Girl situation:
1. They are going on a global reunion tour and coming back into the spotlight and the best that they and all their music producers could come up with - is that song? It something I'd listen to in an elevator or going to sleep at night.
2. So they started out with a snoozer song, and then they put together this equally sleep inducing of a video.
3. Is it me or does Ginger Spice look weird with wearing as little clothes as she is? It's like she got to the video shoot and said, "Ladies, we all know I have the most wicked body out of all of you, so I am just not going to wear a shirt, cool?" I mean, don't get me wrong, her body is amazing - just that the whole "image" she has going on in this video just doesn't seem to fit with anyone else's "image" or the rest of the video's mood.
4. If Posh the wost lip syncher ever or what? Goodness gracious!

38I dont like the song so I watched the video with the sound on mute. The video was ok but it had nothing to do with anything, Ginger, obviously, has been working out and wanted everyone to appreciate her hard work, Posh sitting on the chair with lingerie on was weird, Posh stroking Baby's hair was awkard, I cant even remember seeing Sporty in the video...was she there?
Overall, it was a forgettable video. The shouldve picked a better song and a knock video. Better luck next time I guee. I still love the Spice Girls!

I'm pretty happy that they are back! but I agree that the song is a little boring. I really don't understand why they needed to be in their underwear, they looked better in the nice dresses. I'll be looking forward to more videos.
