By now you all have heard that George and Danny DeVito had a big night out together this week. Danny appeared drunk on The View and Clooney woke up that same morning with a horrible hangover. George will be on the Today show Monday and in the interview Matt Lauer gets to the bottom of Clooney's drinking habits. Here's more:
"When's the last time you got really drunk?" Matt Lauer asks PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive in a Today show interview set to air Monday. "I mean, stumble down, fall on your face drunk?"
"Um, well ... I was with, um, an actor recently," replies Clooney, 45.
"Big guy, little guy?" Lauer playfully presses.
"Big, big heart," says Clooney. "We were doing shots of limoncello and that's all I can really say on the subject" – though, he adds: "All I can remember."

Continues Lauer: "This was Danny DeVito? Who showed up on The View the next day and just seemed wrecked?"
"Yeah," Clooney says with a laugh. "I had to do Regis & Kelly the next day and I was pretty hung over as well."
On The View, DeVito, 62, slurred his words, told rambling stories and at one point sat on Rosie O'Donnell's lap. After admitting he'd been out with Clooney all night, he said, "I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me."
As for just how much they really imbibed, Clooney tells Lauer: "I got to the point where I was dumping the shots into a plant next to me, and I don't think ... Danny saw me do that."
When Lauer suggests that it was all "a calculated move" for Clooney to score at the bar with DeVito's castoffs, the actor counters, "Well, the funniest thing was it was ... we were just at a restaurant. It wasn't like we were out drinking. We were at a restaurant, sitting down, drinking. I was in bed by 11:30 at night and I woke up at 7:00 and I was still drunk."

I've never thought George Clooney was very attractive but the more I see him in interviews,
the more I find him quite sexy. He seems like a fun guy!

9well i find it ridiculous. by the age of 45 a person should have better things to do than go on a bender. there's nothing cute about getting drunk. poor choice that no responsible adult in their right mind should make. do these hollywood people ever grow up? or do they just get more forgetful about wearing under ware and how many drinks they've had because they pay someone to remember that stuff?
