Angelina took a break from working on The Changeling to stop by a press conference for Beowulf in Beverly Hills this weekend. The movie is CGI animated, but each character is created in an actor's likeness. Apparently Angelina got a little more than she had bargained for when she watched the film, especially in the scenes where her animated counterpart is naked. She said,
"There are certain moments where I felt actually shy – and called home, just to explain that the fun movie that I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than [what] we expected. I didn't expect ourselves to come out as much. I didn't expect it to feel as real, and so because of especially the type of character I play, it was kind of funny at first."
It's hard to imagine Angelina Jolie feeling shy, but we are betting that her animated self looks just as gorgeous as Angie the ultimate hottie looks in real life. However, I can see how, even having done nude scenes in her youth (I know she's still young, but...) as a more mature mother of four she might feel a bit shy about seeing a very naked, VERY enhanced version of herself on screen now.

30She was not full frontal in Gia and that movie was almost 10 years ago. She adpoted Maddox and started working for the U.N. in 2002 and completely changed so it's not just a "few" years of her tranformation. It's time for people to let it go.

A lot of actors are shy. Acting is a way of not being yourself. If you are a reserved person it is freeing. It is not an oxymoron to be shy and to do a character that may be nude. Gia was a great performance that was more than just nude scenes.

45I guess everyone was born perfect, never made mistakes and learned from experience, never changed, never grew. Not me. I was born a human being, made mistakes big & small, and I’m a different person today at 55 y.o. than when I was 19. I don ‘t regret most of my mistakes because they were life lessons. I regret experimenting with drugs in the 60s & 70s, but thank the Goddess there wasn’t any permanent harm. There are a lot of things young, single people do that they don ‘t do when they become parents or get older. It’s the nature of youth not to think ahead.
Angelina was fantastic in Gia - I think it was a better performance than the oscar-winning performance she gave in Girl, Interrupted.

Nothing against Julia, but I seem to remember that she was with Benjamin Bratt when she hooked up with husband Danny(?) Moder - who just happened to be married at the time. Why isn’t she excoriated as being a homewrecker? Especially as this was her (at least) 2nd offense - Keifer Sutherland was married with children, I believe, when they got engaged. Then Julia left him at the altar & ran away with his best man Jason Patric. Nice. So why the double-standard & horribly hypocritical treatment of Jolie, and not Julia? My theory is the ‘high school theory.’ Julia is the popular cheerleader/prom queen, and Angelina is Stephen King’s Carrie.
Oh, and I think Julia would qualify as poster child for serial co-star dating more than Angelina. (To be fair, it seems half of co-stars date each other.)

So has he been excoriated in the tabs as a ‘homewrecker’ as severely and for as long as Ange? NO.
So much hypocrisy and sexism on this issue. Guys like Seinfeld get away with 'homewrecking.' Julia Roberts gets a free pass. Angelina Jolie is wrongly vilified again and again for 'stealing' Brad Pitt. And Brad is knocked only 1% while Angelina is crucified 99% of the time.
