Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt looked typically wax figure-esque out at last night's LA premiere of Beowulf. Angelina may have been shy about watching her computer generated body on the big screen, but she was full of smiles on the red carpet keeping herself covered in her coat while Brad opted for his requisite hat. Elsewhere on the red carpet Anthony Hopkins did his best Jack Nicholson impersonation while John Malkovich was generally cool in his yellow/green coat. Robin Wright Penn was looking good, too, but kind of unrecognizable, right? The movie doesn't hit screens until November 16th and I still can't decide whether it'll be worth a visit to the theater. 19Which option is more plausible: that Brad & Angie are truly happy and that's why they look happy, or that they are pretending to kiss, and presenting a "well studied play" on how to kiss and talk? I think they're acting pretty neutral, but in love.

24ooks like nothing good is coming out on November 16. Oh well the next weekend,t here's Hitman, Enchanted and the Mist so that will make up for the rotten movies on offer the weekend before. i would hate to work on movie with Brad or AJ cos you know it's gonna become all about them the media won't give two sh!ts about anyone else other than the two of them. Even if Anthony Hopkins was the lead and AJ had a 5 minute part he would be sidelined. That sucks when everything turns into a two man or one man show..

26The only person I knew was in Beowulf was AJ, cos she got all the plugging, it was weird to fnd out Mr. Malkovich and Sir Hopkins were in it, cos I thought AJ was the most person in it.

28Oh no I did it last year in German. We had to study epic poems in Old High German, Middle High German and Old English for some odd reason and we did Beowuf. i hated it, hatd it hated it. i was surprised I even passe that course. I thought for sure I had failed. there fore i ain't wasting a dime on this movie lol.

30I'm telling you Zahara it was awful. Our class was small less than 20 people so we wrote our final in a class and our prof as the invigilator. So had 3 short answer questions, 30 one word answers and 2 essay questions. So everyone gets to the esasy question and we just looked at each other we had no clue what to write. And finaly like 20 minutes beofre our time was up this girl asks if ou essays ares upposed to fill a page and he says no. So everyone gets up and hands in their papers. It was hilarious. I had only written 10 lines for each essay it was pathetic. I'd rather study the mating of termites than do Beowulf.

35Read Bewoulf in college. Love love love it. Long and a lil difficult to read with the old language but my British professor just made it awesome. And anothony hopkins? Love him!!! A true blue honest to god actor.
Sadly, even with Sir Hopkins in it, from the previews I've see, it just doesn't look good. So much CGI!! And that guy screaming "i. am. bewoulf!" is a complete rip off of 300 "this is sparta" and i haven't even seen THAT movie.

I agree with "sowhat" Angie does have HIDEOUS legs, and it certainly isn't jealously it's because I have 2 perfectly working eyes and I can see! The only other celeb who has legs as ugly as Angelina's is Courtney Love, and I'm not jealous of her either. It amazes me how people can be so blinded and star struck to totally dismiss the person's obvious flaws. YES HER LEGS NEED TO BE COVERED UP! A makeup/wardrobe artist even gave that tip to her in one of last months media publications. (not directly to her, but they had a list of several celebs and their flaws, Angelina's name was there and her flaw..her LEGS.

46Beowolf is a great story! The only reason to see this movie, though, is Sir Tony. I rolled my eyes when Angie said she was bashful about the nude stuff. Pretty funny since rumor has it they used a body double for her. And yes, her arms and legs are just hideous! Gain some weight please.
