I think its tragic, and its also a huge reminder to people out there that cosmetic surgery does count as major surgery. There's ALWAYS a risk of death, and people forget that.

my condolences to his family...I am not a fan of his public persona (which is the biggest front ever) but I know how it is to be super super tight with your mom when it's always been just you and her...ok, I need to stop before I get sad...his mom did something right in raising him and got to see his dream come true!

I was getting ready to go to work when I read about this horrible incident!
Kanye if the world was mine this would never had happen! It’s so hard; nobody is prepared for such a loss.

This sounds bad but I hope that he doesn't blame a white guy or white people because of the surgery.

Lipo is VERY dangerous. Many deaths are caused by this procedure, because it creates clots that can drift up to the heart and lungs weeks later and cause pulminary embolism (sp?). The data for this is pretty sketchy, because cause of death is listed as "pulminary embolism", not complications from lipo.

Poor Kanye. Very sad.

I feel the same as most of you. Hopefully he will be ok sooner than later.

Something like this should teach people to accept yourself, and others, for who they are, not matter what weight, or how small your lips are. Until the obsession with plastic surgery goes away, expect more of these freak accidents to occur. Sad...

I'm with jaan_black re Kanye...losing one's mother especially when you're quite close to them...and he was really close to his mom so i can only imagine his heartache on losing her.
