Apparently adoption laws in Africa are not the only thing standing in the way of Madonna adopting another child from Malawi. Madonna's husband, Guy Ritchie, is not a fan of the idea either. Guy loves their new little one, David Banda, but does not love the media attention surrounding another adoption and would rather spend his time concentrating on his newly enlarged family. Although he loves little David [Banda, the African boy the couple adopted] as his own, he thinks they should be both concentrating on their own relationship at this time, not adding a new one.

Well due to all the drama looks like the Hollywood Fad of "I am adopting from Cambodia, Ethiopia, Africa etc.." is dwindling. ITS ABOUT TIME!!! There are plenty of children to adopt right in the friggin country that you live in for goodness sakes. I mean really now. Hollywood is off its rocker. Reading this celeb stuff makes me so appreciative of what I have and how my life is. Keep it simple people. GOSH!

9Madonna Schmadonna ... who cares about her ... she is stale like year old bread. Again so happy the adoption trend in underprivilaged countries is going to dwindle because of this. I do not think it is right to use a child to get media attention like that. Sorry, but she doesn't strike me that selfless enough to do something like that out of the "kindness of her heart".
Plus she really pisses me off ... moves to England or whatever and won't come back to America (she has mentioned that a few times ... about how she much prefers it there to raise her children and like the lifestyle a lot better etc) ... meanwhile the woman started the whole wh*removement in the U.S. to begin with and is now all keeping her kids far away from the U.S. ... I am sure she doesn't keep a copy of her "sex book" on her coffee table either.

14nyarce- actually I can understand her not wanting to live in the United States (ignoring politics and everything)She wants to keep her kids away from the Hollywood game (even though they are super spoiled) HEr husband is from England. Maybe she feels more comfortable in England. I know that when I went to London I knew that I would love to live there more than I do here. SOme people are just more comfortable in other settings.Maybe she wanted to start her life over and forget about what she did in the past and be a more positive image for her kids.
My point is that we will never know the true reason why she would rather live in England then the U.S and I really think know one has the right to give her crap about it.
Now if you want to give her crap about collecting kids by all means go ahead. I thought that she really wanted to help kids but I think she should spend time with her new kid before getting another one. Angie Jolie at least had time between her adopted kids.

19I think it's fine she chooses to live in England. Just because you were born and raised in one country, doesn't mean you're not allowed to live somewhere else.

21Please....who cares what Madonna does. I actually like her and I grew up listening to her music. Whatever she does and who she adopts...is her freaking business. At least she is sharing her wealth! If Madonna really wanted to, she could be a selfish woman and not care what her fans or the public thought thinks about her.
Let the woman live her life and do what she wants to do in her personal life!

23I don't think you can demand to keep the public out of your business when you go on various television shows and reveal intimate details about yourself, like Madonna did. You see some stars on TV only when they're promoting a movie (like Scarlett Johansson) and others seem to be constantly in the spotlight, in magazines or on television (I'm talking about legitimate interviews, like on Oprah or in People, not papparrazi shots), despite no new work to promote.
Also, weren't there pictures of an assistant picking David up from Africa while she went to the gym? I know it's possible the pictures of her going to the gym were from a different time or day, but I definitely did not see her with the assistant that was picking up David, despite the many pictures of the assistant and David getting on the plane. It seems if she could not live without him, she'd spend every possible minute with hm.
24Guy Ritchie is definitely not as high-profile as Madonna. He's publicity-shy. Probably uncomfortable with all the attention.

whatever we feel for madonna that child will benefit hugely if he is adopted! the child should be the main priority now not the media attention or madonna herself.
