OMG that is so sad!! I feel really icky talking about his fortune going to Tori and Dean now. My condolences to the family. Very very sad.
1sad day for tv kids like me
2And how eerie that I said my grandmother and my husband's grandmother both died at 84 from suffering strokes. ugh
3Wow, that is sad. If Tori was not by his side....I will despise her even more.
4That's awful. He's left behind quite the t.v legacy. Any word on whether Dean and Tori actually made it back to be by his side?
5reeree...sorry to hear that both grandmother's died of strokes. Very sad.
Tori was still partying in Canada while her father was ill...
6While he will be missed I don't think it's sad, it was just his time. This man lived a long and full life. We should all have as much personal and professional success. A well lived, very fortunate 83 years, and he leaves behind work that will be enjoyed for a very long time.
PS: I wouldn't think Tori would get anything until mom was gone too. If he was pissed and acted on it she might be surprised.....
7wynter...thanks for the link. I am going to check that out. What a terrible human being.I don't know why I am surprised, she only cares about her and her lazy eyed hubby. I hope he didn't leave her a dime. And I hope she is infertile.
8This is really sad for TV land and for those of us who grew up addicted to his shows. This list is endless! Too many favourites!
Last report is that Tori is still in Toronto & was seen this afternoon in Yorkville walking hand & hand with her sleazy hubby. Tori's Mom & brother were by his bedside...while Tori was still up galavanting in T.O. 5 days after her father had a stroke.
Tori will regret not being there...esspecially if she "intended" on being there soon. That happened to me...not a nice situation to be in.
9Thank you Aaron for 90210. I would have never been the same with out it. RIP sweetie.
10He was a TV mogul, he will be missed!
11Its easy to pass judgement, but when someone dies i like to focus on the good rather than the bad in their lives - and i for one LOVED 7th Heaven.
I wasn't allowed to watch 90210
to this day i'v never seen an episode.
12I loved 90210, but I always had to go to bed right when it went off. I feel so bad for his family.
13LOL JennaV. Does he have a lazy eye? I thought he was trying to look suave. As to them having kids I can't decide which would be more fitting punishment: the hideous looking children they would no doubt create or being unable to have any children at all.
14I must be seriously sleep deprived. How can I not give him props for my favorite show EVER! I still watch it on Soapnet whenever I am at home. It comes on 5 & 6 p.m.
15Girl, you KNOW he has a lazy eye. The funny thing is, I think he IS trying to look suave and it makes his eye even lazier and more prominent. Could you imagine that kid? Would it be possible to have a lazy eye for like the left eye and then a big bug eye for the right? LMAO!!!!!!!!!
16It ate my comment (no profanity rule?) ANY-way, I nearly choaked at the thought of that poor beastly looking kid. But you see what I'm saying, it's a tough choice.....
17OMG....you're evil! Just like me....LOL!
18hahaha jenna V!! wow.. its soo sad he passed away.
19Jenna Jenna...that is so not nice!!! Your naughty Muriel!! LMAO!!!
But I did laugh too at your comments!!!
What a spoiled rotten brat to not be there when he died. She is only famous because of him. 90210 would have been just fine with another actress playing Donna.
20So sad, I hope that his family uses the good times and strong memories as a source of inspiration to them alway .... On a different note, I hate to sound cold, but I'm sure the first thing "Dean" thought of was, "Chaaaaaaaaaaaaa-ching" !!!!!
21I grew up on 90210...how sad
22But he did live a long life
Ok Jenna -- the line is "Your terrible Muriel"...I guess if I am going to quote something I should at least quote it correctly!!! I am such a dork!!
2390210 was good, but melrose place was the sh*t. I loved evil Sidney! RIP, Mr. Spelling.
24I really dont think she should be judged for not being there. Sometimes we just get caught up in our own life and happiness. I have great guilt bc I was away getting engaged and missed the last days of my grandmothers life. Ill never forgive myself. Im sure tori will suffer enough inner guilt that we dont have to wish her ugly kids lol even tho the thought is hilarious.
25omg im so sad im gonna cry
26poor tori and tori's mom aww
That's really sad news. Condolances to his family.
27wow that's horrible news. As soon as I read this I went to wake my mom and tell her. She was in disbelief...she even came out to see the post.
My heartfelt condolances go out to his family at this difficult time.
wow
28Aphrodite, I'm so there with you on Melrose...that show was my number one fave...I even participated in the auction they had, and won a dress that Alyssa Milano wore.
So sad, but I'm glad he was able to live a long, fulfilling & successful life.
29It's sad that he has died but he has left a large TV legacy.
30Aaaa this is so sad... im so upset now
i hate hearing about things like this.. RIP Mr
Spelling, u will never be forgotten!
31Jenna girl, I agree that Tori is a fugly a-hole! I can't stand her and narsty ass Wolverine Dean!!
RIP AARON SPELLING
32Wow. What a shock. I feel like a bit of an a** for making the comment about him cutting Tori out of the will.
When I was a kid, I loved Fantasy Island. That show was the bomb. It amazes me that he had a hand in so many of the shows I grew up watching.
God bless him. May he rest in peace.
33i guess we don't have the right to judge tori or tell him how to act or what to include in his will. but we have certainly lost a great man. rip aaron spelling.
34I don't think there was not a show Aaron put out I did not get hooked on, How sad. I was just commenting on him the other day how he had taken Heather Locklear under his wing over the years.
35Ya, whatever happen to Evil Sidney, I liked her also !!! How about that dumb ass Michael, the DOCTOR ... Only on TV ! haa !!!
36Remember Tommy Howell?? What the hell ever happen to him and where the hell did he go ........ Is he still alive, or a child star grew bad ????
37Sidney was hit by car(I forget who was driving) as she walked out of the wedding chaple after getting married and killed.
38I LOVED Melrose. The best bunch of crap to ever hit the airwaves. Aaron knew how to create them. Your're right Aubiss01, if it wasn't for him Heather Locklear would not have had the comeback she did.
39Kidcrazy2, I think every series she protrayed in was produced by Aaron Spelling except for some lifetime movies. I am sure she is very sad over this also. What a great loss.
40If I recall correctly, I believe he made the statement a time back that Heather Locklear was his lucky charm. She had a way of making his shows a hit.
41Tori Spelling could have flown in a private jet to see her father before he died. He was 83 for heaven's sake. He'd had a stroke (that she probably brought on by her assinine behavior). Somehow her mother and brother managed to be there. You can be sure she'll be front row center (with her trashy husband) for the reading of the will.
This is why we need a huge estate tax. That girl shouldn't inherit a dime. At the very least, inheritances should be limited to, what, ten million dollars? Why would any Tori Spelling deserve anything more than that?
I hope he disinherited her before he died. As it is, she's already living off her trust fund. She certainly isn't living off her acting abilities, and she sure never would have gotten a job if her last name wasn't Spelling.
Shame on her not dropping everything and going to see him. I understand how other posters on this board weren't able to - we all have regular lives. But if you had countless millions at your disposal, you would have been there...
42omg, although Tori's parents "may" not have approved of her new husband,(Or most likely the way she went about it), I don't believe her family has gotten that disfunctional as the tabloids have made it.
I have always hear Tori was daddy's little girl. She has just come wide open the last year. No one should blame Tori for her fathers stroke. That's just not right. The man was 83. Bless him.
43Good old Aaron though. Right up to the end his life was full of drama.
44Aging t.v mogul distresses over beloved daughter's new marriage to sleazy, easy, wonky- eyed, wannabe actor who left wife and new baby, but for love? Aaron thinks not. He's suspicious, so cuts off contact with daughter, thinks about adjusting his will but succumbs to stroke before the pen can be put to paper. Daughter and sidekick arrive after the fact pretending to be shocked and distressed at sudden turn of events. Someone get this to a t.v studio.
You know Dean McDermott is stunned at this...stunned that Papa Spelling is gone so soon and fugly wife stands to inherit big time. This couldn't have worked out better for Dean if he planned it and seeing as I'm sure he has trouble planning his next sentence this is just dumb luck on his part. Have they been married a month? Oh, he's good, he's veeeeeeeeery good.
how sad. =(
45whatever04, that is the purpose of the tabloids, to get everyone who is instrested thinking beyound reality.
Tori did not cause her dads death, The man lived a great ripe age with so many accoumplicements.(spelled wrong).
46Yea, and maybe we can be there to take pictures of it!!!!
47Let's put their personal lives on the front page. If they have the right to invade celebrity's, why cannot they be invaded themselves?
48That is really sad, he was cool man. RIP.
49omg serioudly she was in toronto while her father was dying wow
