Britney did her presto-chango act the other night and we think it's a good thing. Her friend in the Thriller shirt saved us all from yet another crotch shot so I'd like to personally thank whoever her friend is. However, the party girl lifestyle is getting her into heaps of trouble. Brit's family is shocked and embarrassed about all of the recent photos without her underwear. They are also worried that she has been shirking her parental duties. She's apparently been staying in hotels with Paris instead of going home to Sean and Jayden. And not only are her parents worried but the Department of Children & Family Services is getting involved as well. Here's highlights:
- A source close to the singer said, "The department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her, so they can check on [Spears' baby sons Sean Preston and Jaden James]. The calls started after this recent bout of bizarre public behavior."
But they are not the only ones worried about Spears. - The family source said her mother, Lynne, "is very disturbed and has been trying to get a hold of Britney, but she can't. Lynne, Britney's brother, Brian, and her dad, Jamie, are very upset and are trying to stage an intervention with [Spears' manager] Larry Rudolph's help."
A rep for the Department of Children & Family Services in L.A. didn't return calls. - Us Weekly reports that father Jamie recently had a stern talk with his Britney. The magazine notes, "He was not happy with her antics . . . He told her that she's a grown woman and needs to act like one, and she's been making bad decisions."
That's for sure. This would be the second time social workers have been called out to check on Britney, the first being Sean P falling out of his high chair and hitting his head. Then there was also the driving incident. Brit really needs to get on the ball. K-Fed can use all of this in court against her to try to get full custody. This is not the time to be out partying! Hopefully someone will get through to her before it's too late.

So true Toxxic...it is not like she is dragging her kids to the clubs. They are home, or where ever safe with someone. Her problem is WHO she has chosen to pal around with. She could have picked Gwen, Reese.. maybe someone with kids that is young as well. Paris is doing this on purpose. She will destroy Brit's reputation while Brit is so clueless to let it happen. 31I think she got out of a rough marriage needed a friend and some fun and it got the best of her. Like Sasha said theres a way to be out everynight and still be home taking care of ur babies, u might be tired or have to cut the nights short but its doable.

37Makes perfect sense that they would investigate because they already have a file on her and have been to her house to investigate previous claims. It would be irresponsible of the agency if they didn't follow up on the calls regarding the welfare of a toddler and newborn when the mother is seen intoxicated every night, sometimes out until dawn, and the father is nowhere around.
Supposedly she hasn't been living in her house since filing for divorce and pays $15k a month to rent another house in Malibu where she has been staying, or perhaps just warehousing her kids.
Michael Jackson has been investigated in the past, and now he's taken all of the kids out of the country so he's out of the Department of Children & Family Services jurisdiction, and as for Kate Moss, she's in another country, so the Department of Children & Family Services has no interest or ability to look at her parenting skills.
