Ashlee Simpson went layered winter chic last night at the 2007 CosmoGirl Born to Lead Awards in NYC. Pete was there to support his December cover girl and even brought the rest of his band along for the party. The night before, Ashlee was by his side for his Angels and Kings Karaoke party, where he talked about how she's been helping him with his broken foot. He said, "When I'm being hard-headed and I don't want to elevate it, she says, 'No, put it on the pillow!' When I try to get in the shower by myself and am going to end up falling on the hotel room floor, she's good at stopping me." These two have come a long way in their relationship, we just hope he's as nice to her as she seems to be for him.

15Did anyone watch E! News last night? They were showing a clip of this event and Ashlee Simpson was talking for a few seconds about whatever and she totally sounded like she had just inhaled a bunch of helium. It was wierd.

20I dont understand either, how someone would want to change their whole face like that its just weird. She doesn't look like the same person, and I feel if she just changed her hair and make up when she could have been just as pretty as she is now, she didn't have to go that extreme.

24I agree brown-eyed-grrl she always said that she was confident, I feel she should have just told people the truth like listen I had a complex, and I always had a low self-esteem living in my sisters shadow, and this is why I got plastic surgery I was never confident. Instead shes like hmmm maybe I did maybe I didnt, its like sure your face ins't just totally different or anything!!!

39I feel so bad for pater and his broken foot. i was at a fall out boy concert last week and he had a huge brace all the way up to his knee and had to sit on the stage for one song because it was hurting him
and at the end he apologized for his lack of energy or something. it was cute.
