George and Brad's campaigning for Matt Damon to be crowned Sexiest Man Alive have finally paid off. Obviously we could not agree more. We know many of you don't necessarily consider him sexy but what's not to love about this amazing actor, father and friend. Here's what People had to say about Matty:
George Clooney and Brad Pitt have shamelessly campaigned for him since 2001, but this year's winner was Bourne to the title. "You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime," Damon, 37, told PEOPLE, explaining why he couldn't possibly accept the crown – which perfectly demonstrates many of the reasons we chose him in the first place: irresistible sense of humor, rock solid family man, heart-melting humility.

Chris Evans: Who? Sometimes its also about being pretty on the inside
Gerard Butler: Was in one movie and isn't that big of a name
Clive Owen: Acne scars. Plus he was in the pink panther with Beyonce.
The only other person I could really put up there with Matt is Patrick Dempsey. He has been around forever, and also has that family man sense to him.

I have always liked Matt and since becoming a dad, in my eyes he has become even better. I guess we all define sexy differently.

This list lost it for me when they included that goon Sean Avery (hockey player) - the man is a freaking a*hole racist pig! And PS - the NHL has many, MANY hotter players than him. And Justin Timberlake can barely fit his head through the door. Doesn't PEOPLE think abuot the inside-sexiness of a man?
38I think they pick based on how much they've done. Christian bale did that 3:10 to yuma gima movie, so I feel they always pick who ever has been doing a lot of work that year. Once you are on the DL they don't acknowledge you, because your not out there promoting.
