Poor Britney. Her stock has fallen so far since the Matt Lauer interview. The sad part is she was shocked to see that people had less respect for her after the interview since she was hoping it would make people be more sympathetic. In a last attempt to prove the POP Princess was still on top she tried to create an exclusive story for the tabloids but apparently there was very little interest. Page Six reports:
BRITNEY Spears was shocked - shocked! - by the reaction to her wretched NBC interview with Matt Lauer (87 percent of people polled in Us Weekly had less respect for Spears after the chat). So she attempted damage control. Spears had a photographer take pretty pictures of her - this time with professional hair, makeup and wardrobe. And despite tearfully begging for privacy, saying she hates media attention, and calling the celebrity weeklies "trash" in the interview, Spears then tried to sell the photos and an "exclusive" interview to those same trashy weeklies for $200,000. There were no takers. OK! finally bought the shots and the interview for a measly $5,000. A rep for the magazine declined comment but did say, "Who doesn't love a discount?" Spears' rep didn't return calls. Meanwhile, Spears' hubby, Kevin Federline, seems to be on a budget. Federline was shopping at Lounge in SoHo on Friday but balked at paying $150 for a T-shirt.

What an ironic comment for her to make. I like her dress in the 1st picture, but it looks funny on her boobs. And yes, Britney, everyone "thinks they know you" because we do. You tell us about it every day.

8I loved the Britney of old....this 360 contridiction is just another example of trying to bite the hand that feeds you which is why for me Britney is no longer in my affections....to wine on telly about those weeklies and then try to charge them $200,000 (money some people would not even make in their lifetime) is just plan disgusting....had the money been going to charity I would have understood but when that money is only going to increase her already full trashy wardrobe or K-Fed allowance for the month....well I am shocked.
I hope those lovely weeklies continue to boycott her.

It’s funny thing that she did with manny Perry. I guess she did this unpurpose. When Kevin saw that she can do without him – his ass got scared. He thought he will be the only one forever. And than he saw manny, got jealous, quickly ran to Britney for forgiveness. And she with all her stupidity decided that this will help to save the marriage. How... naive. Nothing will save it. Because it never existed.
I don’t want to say about karma... but this what should have happen at the end. And everyone told her so: the fans, media, even her mother. But you know – our Britney is, like, grow up. This is what happens when ONE person in marriage decides to have kid. It always has to be mutual decision. What was she expect? And what was Shar expect? He doesn’t want kids. I guess that Shar’s & Britney’s relationships with Federjerk are very much identical. Look at Shar – 2 kids already from another man. She decided she wants another with Kevin. Kori born – no marriage follows. This chick (already having 3 kids) decides to get pregnant again. We all know what followed.
Now look at Britney... Kevin already having 2 kids. Why the hell he needs another? But remember how Britney was screaming in every interview that she wants baby so much? SHE proposed to him, SHE decided to have the baby. He never wanted it. And know she has what she asked for. Single mother with 2 kids and no future.
P.S. Yesterday watched program about Britney. Again almost cry when they showed her old hot days fotage. And it’s funny but she didn’t look that stupid back then as she looks now.

21I agree, Britney has become pathetic. No one cares about her singing career anymore and we all know she can't act, the only thing she does now is get knocked up by K-Fed. Also these pics are not Britney, they are photoshopped to the max. I mean we just saw her on Matt Lauer and she's been bigger than these pics since before she announced she was pregnant again. Her face is fatter and she has kind of a double chin. I used to just not like Britney because I hated that whole 1999 pop music bubble, but now I just feel pity mostly for the kids who have to call Britney Spears and Kevin Federline their parents.

What I do not understand is where the hell are/where her parents? If she wanted time off from working why didn't they suggest going back to school? She could done the sorority, cheerleading etc. as well as get a degree and been a hell of a lot happier. She needs to hire a life coach!

30I call my kids all kinds of silly nicnames. Boo-boo being one of them. Poopsy shmoo, bay bay, shmookie, the list is endless. Anything silly I can come up with, I call them. I think it's cute and my girls think it's funny.
On another note, I'm glad that Britney seems to have taken a visible fall that even she was able to see. Her people in charge were trying to do the same by making themselves scarce at her Dateline interview. Letting her know that if she thinks she can do it alone, well by gosh, go ahead and give it a try girlie. She landed on her butt. Maybe now she'll begin to listen to those who know what they are talking about again.

42If she's surprised that the Matt Lauer interview didn't endear people to her I have two words for her...gum chewing. That was the tackiest thing I'd ever seen. Her stripper-like look, her clown make-up, her bleached hair extensions, and her brain-dead answers also didn't help.

45I bought the magazine, sucker I know, and she referred to the babies as boo boos over and over again that made me lose some respect levels. Speak proper english when you are in a magazine trying to get people to look at you in a better light.
46hmm...i felt even more sorry for her after that interview, so she hasn't necessarily lost respect from all of us...we just feel for her and know she hasn't made the best decisions.
