Lindsay Lohan threw on a yellow hoodie and an unhappy face to smoke a cigarette out on a balcony yesterday evening. A little self reflection after serving her time in jail, perhaps. You know, if you can even call it that since she was in and out within 84 minutes. Well, at least she was in two minutes longer than Nicole Richie and was only supposed to serve one day? Of course, the sheriff's office was quick to come to their own defense by saying that this is how they deal with "most eveybody in this position." Ugh, such a joke, right? I wonder if this means that one day of community service will count as ten.

16It is a major problem with the justice system. I do believe that others get "this break", we just don't hear about it.
17I know someone here, who was rewarded "weekends" so they could continue to keep thier job. Alot of time they show up Friday night to sign in, and are sent home, but they are credited for the weekend because they showed up. Its ridiculous.

26I've seen many of the movies she has appeared in, and I have to disagree she is untalented. She does a fine job, even in the movies that everyone claimed she wouldn't because she was partying too much.
27Some of the roles aren't that memorable, just because they are a small supporting role, but I don't think she's ever been embarrassing to watch, or a disaster.
Her talent is the reason I'm rooting for her to clean up her mess.

29I think what's more important than her hoodie or her fake tan is the fact that our legal system really sucks. Boy I'm glad I don't live in LA. You can drive crazy, have DUI's, coke possesion, etc. and then just serve 84 minutes. I'll gladly stay far away from LA!

I agree UrbanBohemian, at least she's not out waving and smiling and acting like a circus freakshow act like Paris was! She does seem to want to change, who knows if it's just an act--time will tell.

49The California Department of Corrections has one problem...their budget. They do not have enough resources to hire more officers to handle the overcrowding so why would they keep a nonviolent offender in a jail that is overcrowded with drug dealers, pedophiles and murderers. The only person to blame for the preferential treatment celebs receives is our governator.
