Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were all smiles when they were photographed in their hotel lobby the day after their wedding. We've already seen the pictures from the event and now we have more details. As expected, there was some singing involved. Here's more:

(Journalist and guest) Jessica Rowe, a presenter on the Nine Network's Today show, said today the evening was beautiful.
"It was sensational, it was so beautiful, I felt privileged to be there," she said.
Rowe said Urban, 38, had surprised the guests by singing Memories of Us to his bride, who is a year older.
"Everyone was sitting round at their tables and he just walked up onto the stage unannounced and pulled out his guitar and sang this beautiful song," she said.
Sounds like a picture perfect wedding. Congrats to the happy couple.

They seem happy. Congrats.
1Ahh they can't get a moment alone...but yes, they do seem happy.
2If you think Americans are full on with the coverage, you should see the Australian coverage. I am living down here right now, and you'd think someone found the bloody cure for cancer the way its all over TV. sheesh. But I have to admit I cannot wait to see the dress straight on. A one armed wedding dress... interesting.
3They look really happy.
4How cheap to plug your new single on your wedding day....*throws up in disgust*
5Maybe the song is about Nicole?
6Where are u from Yummi?
I heared a few of the words on 10 tonight, i actually thought it was about Nicole.
7She looks great here, and he looks hot. What a sweet thing for anyone to do, sing to their bride.
8Yes Pink_mag...maybe it is about Nicole but also available in stores now....*pukes*
9Nicole does not look good....she could play the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe WITHOUT make up....as her face is already frozen.
10I found the dress she wore. It's this one:

11Whatever04...you could not be more right.
12JK Boogie, lol. I do not like Nicole either, she's not pretty and to be honest she scares me. I think she could have played the monster or witch in just about every horror movie I have ever seen. That pic with her in the wedding limo looks like a scene from some horror movie from the sixties. She has a huge forehead and he skin is way too white especially for an Australian. She looks like she got alot of Botox and it just comes off as scary looking. I do give her props for including her and Tom's adopted kids in the wedding and giving them a break from their crazy father and the alien spawn "Suri". I don't think that the marriage will work though because it reminds me of the Renee Zellewegger and Kenny Chesney wedding thing too much. Also Kenny looks more feminine and attractive than Nicole does.
13caligirl, we're not all tanned you know! especially us down in the south !
14I have never been a big fan of Nicole but I have to say she looks extremely happy.
15Yeah, but celebrity newlyweds are always happy for the first little while. Just wait a little longer and we'll all be reading about the divorce, not the wedding.
16Memories of Us isn't a new song... I've heard it before. I think it's a tad cheesy to sing your own song, but still sweet. I hope it lasts for a little while, given that she's married someone seemingly sane this time around.
17It sounds like a beautiful time. And at the time if my husband knew how to sing, I certainly would have loved to have him sing at our wedding.
Instead he ate a record amount of hamburgers. hoo-ray
18HA HA reeree, thats hysterical!what is it with men and eating stupid amounts of food compeditively? I went to a BBQ not long ago and ALL the boys were counting sausage sangas they were eating. sorry, not boys, grown men.
So all the girls buggered off to the otherside of the yard and drank all the wine.
19Tornado ..u crack me up
20lol Nomerz, Wedding are cheesy.
21weddings*
22Let's just all wish them well and let it go at that. Why spoil the karma?
23good luck and stay happy!
24I see the children were whisked back to Tom's ASAP. God forbid they should spend any real time with their normal relatives or simply be allowed to recover from the jet lag. Maybe Tom was worried some of the Jesus stuff might rub off on his kids. What an ass!
25I didn't realize she was only a year older than him, she looks much older! I hope they are always as happy as they seem right now!
26I agree SoTru, which is sad, because on the news they showed Nicole in her car with her bridesmaids, who were Isabella and her neice, and Isabella and the neice looked soo happy, singing and bouncing in their seats.
Tom and his 'people' would have said 'Now, you know mummy's in a cult, and you dnt have to believe anything anyone says to you, just smile and say no-thank you, I dont want communion.'
27That was just too good PrincessPixie!!!!!! I'm crackin' up on that second paragraph.........and you know it's soooooooooo true!
28I have this gut feeling that there's something strange about the custody arrangement they have. Like, Nicole can rarely see the kids because she's not in the cult. I don't know. It just doesn't sit right with me.
29you guys are so jaded! they look happy, and i hope they stay that way... yay, true love!
pollyanna, out.
30Im not jaded MAlibu, im just slightly sub-pollyanna. Im more anne of green gables. pollyanna never annoyed anyone!!!
31Even though they have a big ol' cross on their "church" in Hollywood, Scientology has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. The Prophet L. Ron Hubbard went as far as suggesting Jesus was a pedophile. So I'm sure you're right PrincessPixie!
32many 'false' prophets...........
Is that your dog SoTru?
33Princess P that wasn't even the best part of our wedding. It was an outdoor wedding.
When my husband was saying his vows, his father walked up behind him and smacked him on the back of the neck, to kill the mosquito who landed there.
Wow, I just read that back and my wedding sounds like a trailer park event. I swear it wasn't. Really it wasn't.
34The Christian cross is believed to have evolved from the Egyption Ankh, a pagan symbol for eternal life.
35I thought it came from the fact that people in general and Jesus in particular were nailed on them....
however, they were nailed through the wrists not the hands.
Isn't the ankh a stylised lotus?
Oh Pop please put another post up i cant sleep....
36reeree- your wedding sounds like it had some funny moments.
37Reeree thats hillarious! Iv heared some horror wedding stories - a friend of mine got so drunk at his wedding he took the his new car for a drive to buy cigarettes, totalled it, got busted drink driving and had to be bailed out by the bride.
They are now divorcing.
38they look happy, i hope it works out for the best.
39where did you hear that from Jinx?
40PP -- nice call on the anne of green gables!
41I've read the ankh was supposed to look like a key originally, to represent the key to eternal life.
42It became a symbol of Christianity because Christ was nailed to a cross, but alot of things in Chistianity were "borrowed". I've read that many things were taken from the pagan beliefs, as it was the pagans they were trying to convert. For instance, Christmas is celebrated at the time of year that used to be a pagan festival, not necessarily when Christ was supposed to be born.
This is getting too heavy...lol
Oh my! That poor bride had to have been furious. I wonder if that was the basis of every arguement they had until they divorced.
Knowing myself, I'm sure I would have brought it up ALOT!
43Jamie, I read alot, and watch alot of A&E! LOL
44malibu, i am an LM Montgomary GEEK - Anne, Emily of New Moon, A Tangled Web, The Chronicles, Kilmeny of the Orchard....
I actually get this little whistful hurt feeling just writing their names, I think i was Lucy Maude in my past life.
45vmruby it was definitely a fun time. I balked at the idea of an outdoor wedding, but it really turned out quite nice.
46the way christmas is celebrated today is largely borrowed from the pagan tradition of exchanging gifts at that particular time of year. the meaning behind the christmas holiday, however, and the religious tradition of celebrating the birth of christ can not, in my opinion, be considered "pagan" in any sense of the word.
47That's very interesting stuff Jinx.
And yes that's my siberian husky when he was a puppy.
48Reeree, trust me, he never forgot it - and neither did anyone else she ever met.
49heavy., yeah lol* I know the easter egg tradition thing was derived from a 'pagan goddess' (if you will) it's all about fertility but I prefer to do the passover. To each his own here. Alot of Christians realize that 12-25 isn't Christ's b-day. Talking about it for some reason can get alot of people just down right mad, lol~ look, Toms got all the answers, we are all aliens okay? and some of us just popped here, bam, and some simply grew all the way from a tadpole. He's my hero*
