David Beckham was looking sexy and stern leaving a solo dinner at London Nobu this weekend. He missed Victoria's first two Spice Girls reunion performances, but hopefully he saw them Friday night on BBC. While Becks looks great in his Galaxy uniform, he's not quiet about how much he wants to play for the England national team again. He told the Sunday Mirror, "Contrary to some people's claims, I didn't leave European football too early. I am still playing well and at a good standard. That's why I'm optimistic I can play in the 2010 World Cup. I won't retire. I will always make myself available for my country. That hasn't changed." We may love having Becks in the states, but it's obvious he has a loyalty to his home country and we can certainly appreciate that.

12Actually he is back in the squad and played in their friendly against Austria last Friday. He just missed quite a few games because of injury. Also, many people think he won't be able to hold his form, because he isn't playing on the highest (club) level any longer. That's why he's worried about not making the team...
