AMA winner Fergie opened the show last night with a medley of her latest and greatest hits. It was a strong start for a show that definitely included some memorable performances including glow in the dark dancer, Chris Brown and Rihanna who looked way better on stage than on the red carpet. Beyonce dressed down when she joined Sugarland for a duet of her hit Irreplaceable. Sexy Lenny (yes I have a huge thing for him) wore his usual all black as he sang a soon to be hit song from his new album. My favorite performance of the night was Alicia Keys (check out the video below). Not only was her voice killer but the songs she mixed together definitely got the crowd on their feet. She is a wonderful performer and even if I'm not used to seeing her do choreographed dance moves, she pulled it off. We have a feeling her album is going to knock Jay-Z off the top spot this week.

15FYI, Kid Rock showed his softer side by supporting the troops, Usher sent his condolences to Kanye. Also, it's called a medley, not a melody when you combine multiple songs into one. Seriously girls...makes me wonder what else I read on here that is incorrect.

She's a real artist not like these lip synching pop farts! I love that she gave Chaka Demus and Pliers, Junior Reed, and Beenie Man the stage. All those songs were the ish back in the day. That was hot APPLAUSE for Alicia!!!

can understand why Chris brown was lip-synching - he was givin it all when dancing, but it still doesn't look good( the synching not the dancing - that was off the chain!)

21I love my girls, Beyoncey, Alicia, Rhianna's dresses, they have awesome figure that rocks the dresses. They all look beautiful and smoking hot. Blair underwood and Taye Diggs took my breath away, fine specimen of male hotness. Great performances from Chris, Beebee, Rhianna, Alicia etc.
