Nicole Kidman headed into a Sydney court today to testify in a photographer's lawsuit against the Sun-Herald newspaper. Back in 2005 the paper wrote about the paparazzo, Jamie Fawcett, saying that he was "wreaking havoc" on Nicole's life and now Fawcett is suing. He already won the defamation case, and the court is deciding whether the paper should pay him damages. Nicole came in to testify about how scared Fawcett made her. She said:
"I have been pursued many times. I have had this happen in relation to this particular man . . . so many times. I employ people to protect me now. I employ people 24 hours to protect myself because I don't feel equipped to handle things."
The paparazzi can get out of hand sometimes which is still a very scary reality for Nicole after Keith's motorcycle accident last month. Hopefully having some extra protection around gives her peace of mind. Still, it seems a bit ridiculous that Fawcett might end up winning money in the case considering his behavior.

allourregrets, her eyebrows have been freakin' me out since Moulin Rouge. She had the penciled long eyebrows in that (which varied from shot to shot) and never seemed to lose them.

19Nicole, you're so awesome...I don't even have the words to express it. I hope this whole paps trouble doesn't cast a pallor over the premier of the Golden Compass, which looks to be *nearly* as amazing as the book.
20I'm not digging this outfit at all. And I agree with the other few, she needs to go back to red! The blonde washes her out and so does this choice of outfit. I think she always looks so amazing and classy on the red carpet, though. She just didn't pull it off today.
21I seriously hope this creep Jamie Fawcett loses, and loses BIG! If that scumbag wins, you might as well conclude the judge allowed the paparazzi to invade anyone's (yes, ANYONE'S) privacy anywhere in the world, anti-stalking laws, be damned!
In short, as far as I am concerned, Jamie Fawcett should get NOTHING, and the people he works for, if they had any balls, they'd put him on indefinite assignment!
But in this case, there IS honor among thieves! Won't happen!
