Jessica asked her best friends to be a part of her latest music video. A Public Affair will be the first song off her new album and if you have not heard the Madonna want-to-be, you can click here. Jessica goes retro roller skating in the video which the gang shot this weekend. Expect lots of cameos from her buddies. Billboard reports:
Jessica Simpson will on Aug. 29 release her first post-divorce album, "A Public Affair," which will be preceded by the single of the same name....
The single was co-written by Simpson and Johnta Austin; the accompanying video was shot over the weekend by director Brett Ratner and includes appearances by Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Ryan Seacrest, Christina Milian, Andy Dick and Maria Menounos. It will premiere July 19 on MTV's "TRL."

I guess people in the business do not read gossip blogs/sites because they keep using her. It gave me hope that maybe the beginning of the end is near for her. I'm so tired of seeing that fake smile or the "maligned pout" look she's been perfecting since she filed for divorce.

23Wow is what I thought seeing this. Why does she feel the need to hang around Eva Longoria all the time now? Jessica is such a wannabe, but she has no talent. I agree Madonna or whoever wrote "Holiday" should sue her if they didn't get permission to sample the song. Also Eva's shoes are fugly, with Manolo Blanics and Prada all around, where the hell did she find that pair of gardening sandals she's wearing. Jessica probably visited Mr. Plastic Surgeon again before this video to make sure her legs looked good. On the bright side, this video may make Jessica an icon for gay men. I don't think this single will do as well as Nick's though.

When I was driving into work this morning on one of the radio stations they were playing clips of Jessicas new song and clips of Madonna's song Holiday. Obviously, they sound VERY familiar and similar! I don't doubt she completely ripped it off of Madonna.
The funny part was that they were taking callers asking what the listeners thought. Honestly, not one person defended her! There were tons of people calling in saying they wished Madonna would sue her b/c it is a complete rip off. I thought it was hilarious!
I have to say it, I honestly think her career is over! She just CANNOT get good press anymore!
And as for her "friends" in the video, I did not know she associated with any of them. I think Eva L. is a media wh*re and will do anything to be in the spotlight so It doesn't surprise me that she took the offer. As for the others, I had no idea she even spoke with any of them. Obviously they are all hired help.
28I don't know if its new, It was pretty funny. Pauly Shore was a really good sport through it all. Basically its about him faking his death, or people thinking he's dead, so he goes with it. There's all these cameo's by celebrities making comments about what a hack he was anyways, Paris even makes a cameo saying he tried to sleep with her. Britney was there too saying Who is Pauly Shore. Vince Vaughan, Ben Stiller, Oh, I can't think of everyone, but I'd watch it again.

33lol to all the discounted Jessica merchandise. i have to admit that i brought a really cute blouse from Loehmann's last month and but then i realized it was from Jessica's line so i returned it. The cashier asked me the reason why i was exchanging it (for a really cute dress i might add!) and i said "Cuz i hate Jessica Simpson and this is from her line!"
I got a weird look.

36I don't support Jessica Simpson's never ending line of crappy products either. When she came out with that bath body whatever stuff, one of my friends bought some for me and I gave it back. The only reason all of these other actresses showed up for this video is because of Brett Ratner. He has alot of clout in Hollywood because his movies always make a boatload of money and they hope he can get them parts.

46Alot of us who didn't like Jessica watched "Newlyweds" because we wanted to see how dumb she really was. Two of my favorites were the chicken by the sea episode and the "I don't eat buffalo" buffalo wings episode. I'm still LMAO.
