After a difficult show on Saturday night, Kanye West performed in Brussels on Sunday. This time when he felt emotional, he took the time to explain to the audience why he was back so soon, saying that is what Donda would want for him to do. He chastised people coming out of the woodwork to say that he should take time off, and he said that she was his first and biggest fan. To see his speech, check out the video after the jump.
He canceled his Monday night performance in Amsterdam to be in Oklahoma today for his mother's memorial service. Our thoughts, condolences, and well wishes are with Kanye and his entire family.
The doctor who performed the surgery on Donda spoke to the LA Times, giving his first real interview since her death. He said that she had "no problem whatsoever" when she left his office and that she likely died from heart attack, pulmonary embolism, or accidental pain medication overdose. It will still be weeks until we have the official autopsy report.
In a final bit of Kanye news, he's apparently angry at Harper's Bazaar for printing that a mural on his ceiling is of himself. Kanye told GQ, "That pissed me off so bad...That made me so mad. Even though he can be a jerk and have a crappy attitude about a lot of things, I still feel bad for him. It can't be easy to loose a parent, especially while being in the public eye.
1I like him, even though he's a little stuck up, he has come so far and his lyrics really move me.
2He is great at articulating his feelings, and that makes him one of the best artists out there.
That's so sad about his mother they are saying that they were really close. The Holidays just around the corner that must even harder to deal with.

5That is very sad that his mother died during surgery.The plastic surgeon isn't the specialist he claims to be.I am glad they are looking into his credentials so no one else will be under his hands. But u would think this so called surgeon would have been checked out when he first started doing surgeries?

8I've always been a fan of his music but not of him or his ego. Now I just feel so bad for Kanye and his family. My heart goes out to them. I don't know what I would do if my mom died.
