Paris Hilton is loving every second of herself in China. She's attracting quite a crowd in Shanghai and seems to be lavishing in the attention, clothes and food. She's missing Thanksgiving in the states in order to be the guest of honor at Friday's 2007 MTV Style Gala, but that's a small sacrifice for all eyes on her. Sounds just like Paris' speed. She's spending the days leading up to the big event trying on local designs (like this kinda ridiculous red dress) and trying out local food. As for Friday's big event, I'm sure Paris will find a way to stand out even more than she already does.

8Lmao, my friends went to China this year on a foreign exchange trip and people were pointing and laughing at them when they came out of the elevator because most of them were kids who'd never seen a white person in real life before. Maybe that's why they're giving her so much "attention."
Either way, I want to go! My friends went, the ANTM girls went, and now Paris Hilton is going. Everyone but me.

I really didn't need to know that her belly button is that high. That red dress is a nice design but needs to be made in a thicker and/or firmer fabric and not so tight. With maybe an industrial strength 1950s-1960s girdle. Not that she's fat or anything. It's the thin cheesy fabric.

12i think she's dressing for them, not us. those clothes look like they'd appeal to chinese people. their fashion taste is different! and like someone said above, she's different to them. she's tall, white, and blonde.
13Chinese people are awesome. yeah, they do some things that are wierd and awful to us, but not across the board. China is huge, and parts of it are very different. You should judge them on an individual basis, not as a nationality.

14It's amazing to me how this chick thinks she's all that, when people are laughing at her most of the time. You would actually think she did some REAL work for her daddies / grandfathers forture. Anything she's done I've always read was a flop. What a waste of space and life.

23Ewwwww! I try not to eat food from China (can't really be sure, since our food is not marked with where it is from, only distibution center), but I def would NOT eat food IN China! They have non-existant environmental standards which makes the water that goes to water the crops soooooo freaking contaminated that entire villages die off from cancer! Mmmmmm, cancer!
