Paris Hilton is certainly taking advantage of her time in Shanghai, leaving not a second of her precious time away from the eye of the camera. Her whirlwind tour soldiered on, leaving Paris spending her Thanksgiving chowing down on a skewer of fruit rather than turkey. It was all leading up to Friday's big event, the 2007 MTV Style Gala where she was the guest of honor. As for what Paris thinks about her time in China, she described her thoughts of the city at a Thanksgiving press conference. She said, "Shanghai looks like the future!" Brilliant.

11I don't think it was such a dumb thing to say. China is the future. Every business including fashion, sports and electronics is trying to get a piece of the Chinese market. Despite what most people think there is a segment of the population that is wealthy and more than ready to embrace capitalism. The large population has resulted in a building boom in China. The large cities of China really do look like the future.

shanghai does look like the future! more like cheesy 1999 cyber-theme simscity - and i have seen how shanghai looks like.
