She looks better than we've seen her look in awhile. This combined with the pictures of her playing with the boys lately AND the monitor are giving me a bit of hope that she might be slowing snapping out of whatever funk she's in. The boys have been smiling when photographed with her, she's very clearly interacting with them and heck, even the dog was running around playing with them.

Ok, really...if you're going to talk about Mariah being a "bad" actress...then I'm going to bring up Crossroads...your girl Brit is untalented in all facets of the industry. Mariah has unlimited vocal talent...Britney can't touch her...she never has AND never will. Britney looks as bad here as she always has. Who cares if Mariah can act, she's a singer and the girl has a voice, something Brit's never had. Brit was a good dancer, at best, with some catchy tunes. I've never viewed her as someone with REAL talent, such as Mariah or Alicia Keys.

tiabia, I don't like britney spears's music. I wasn't in any way making a cross reference between her and mariah on the talent side, just the emotional breakdown side. I have never been envious of britney since she released "why don't cha do something". But her days of Toxic and stronger can certainly make a younger female be envious of the fame, money, success out of such a non talented person. I never Idolized her. I never wanted to be a blond, be a singer or an actress. I never wanted to stop my education at high school, get married too young, and have children unexpectedly.

Just because we are saying she looks good here means simply that.

I think Mariah has talent, but absolutely NO creativity...all her songs sound very similar and have you seen her videos? All basically the same, just a change of scenery. I cannot stand her music, although she is far less of a train wreck than Britney.

I like Piece of Me, and that takes alot for me to say. I don't think its fair to combine Brits personal mess, with her professional life. Give credit where credit is due.

Britney can't even spell creativity, let alone be it. At her best, she's a dancing monkey...trained to do as she's told. As you see, when left to her own devices you get crap thrown at you. She sucks!!!

PS: There is NO credit for me to give to Spears. If you subtract her personal life, and only look at the professional...I still only see a talentless, trashtastic person that got lucky. There are thousands of far more talented people out there that truly would cherish and deserve their fame. She can NOT sing, so explain why I should give credit to someone who can't perform the simple task that has made her rich? SHE BLOWS!!!

Mariah and Britney can't act, they both like the slut*y look, they both like attention, they both have problem with their weight at times, they both think they are sex symbols, and yes they have had their share of mental instabilities and web sites rants and embarrassments, but at least the only one Miriah was hurting was herself and she wasn't dragging 2 kids down with her.

Pieces of Me is a HORRIBLE song. I can't believe so many people think it sounds good!?! I am really shocked about that.

It is just a nasal digital voice...talking. Not only does it sound bad, but it is just another "pity me" song, as if she wasn't the conductor of this horrible trainwreck. Talking about the media as if she doesn't strip for paparazzi and go pants-less just for them.

And you know that the body double will be the featured person in the video.

Not a fan, but I heard Britney sing when she was about 14 and she did have talent. She could sing better than Fergie did at that age (I heard both of them singing at 14), but I guess Britney wanted to go the pop road and have them synchronize her voice to death on the records, while Fergie went for a more soulful and real sound. Fans see through that fake stuff after a while and it kills a career.

I don't like Mariah as a person, but she is a great singer. AND she has written the vast majority of her hits. She is a great song writer and has been awarded by ASCAP many times for her writing skills. To say her talents are limited is pretty silly. Her talents vastly outweigh what Spears has to offer.

Sure Mariah wrote all her songs, but they are they same thing over and over...and are horrible at that. Thats my opinion, and eveyone is entitled to there own.
