The well-dressed kids of Gossip Girl were spotted filming yesterday in Manhattan. GG and all its PYTs are quickly becoming some of my new favorites of 2007, so hopefully they can keep the momentum going into 2008 (and not lose it after one season like some shows... coughTheOCcough). It looks like even though things are over (for now) between Blair and Nate, they just can't keep away from each other. Since they must have at least one character on the phone at all times, Penn is chatting away. Leighton looks great as usual, but I must say that Chace Crawford is the prettiest one on set. Sigh, it's just too bad Nate is so dimwitted sometimes. After having last week off, I can't wait to get back in the thick of it tomorrow night. Ah, teen dramas, can't get enough of 'em.

Leighton Meester reminds me so much of Alicia Silverstone in Clueless. (Not in a good way.) I love the show but can hardly get past it every time she's on screen.

But, really, I was born and raised (and, sadly, still live on) the UES where they film the show at least once a week. Tuesday night they were up on 93rd between Park and Madison. I was out walking my dog when I saw a gaggle of teen girls waiting to swarm around the gossip guys. I swear to god, they were planning their attack like a surgical strike: "Wait, we can't all go up to them at once" "Don't go up screaming" "wait until they're walking by themselves" etc. It was quite a sight.
Anyways, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick come strolling along with their bodyguards and the girls were DROOLING. Ed was definitely making a "check out my cheekbones" face as my dog and I passed. I kind of started laughing, because he was so coifed and chisled and eating up the "stardom" moment.
On my walk back home, Chace had changed into jeans, his trusty backwards hat (Um, WHUUUU?), and white converse-like sneaks. FYI, he has small feet. He was posing for pictures with all of the girls, which I thought was pretty sweet of him. Also, I'll admit, he's very good looking...but very pretty...almost too pretty to make him sexy, you know?
Anyways, that's it from the UES.

22hehe so right!! let's hope this is just the tip of the iceberg, and they dont have serena turn alcoholic then drugaddict then lesbian and so on... it's becoming a guilty pleasure!
