I have never really been a huge Nelly Furtado fan but after listening to this I am having a change of heart. On her new album she worked with Chris Martin on a song called 'All Good Things (Come to an End).' Unfortunately, this version of the song with Chris won't be on the album but it's too good not to get out there and share. Take a listen.

11The version on her new CD called Loose is very similar, it just doesn't have Chris Martin harmonizing in the background. Her new album is good, although I don't like all the songs but I do like quite a few. The songs 'All Good Things Come To An End', 'Say It Right', 'Maneater' and 'Promiscuous' are the best I think. Some of her songs have a different sound than she previously has had on her albums (such as Promiscuous/Maneater) ... but she's collaborated with a huge variety of artists all throughout her career.
I saw her in concert here in Victoria, BC about 2 years ago & she totally rocked it! This is her hometown & it was cool to hear her talk to the crowd about the days when she was a teenager writing songs in her bedroom. She also thanked her music teacher for all the encouragement.
Anyway, personally, I think she's very talented. Check out her new CD - I think you'll like it!

13This is a really interesting song, but I agree in both points that Chris Martin sounds spooky and Nelly looks like Courtneny Cox here.

18I love " No Hay Igual" as my workout song. I'm a HUGE Nelly fan. I still listen to her first album, Whoa Nelly!, everyday on my I-pod. Her new stuff is so different from her previous stuff, but she still rocks in my book.

31oh dear, am i the only person who thinks "Promiscuous" w/timbaland is a RIDICULOUS song? i only heard it when she performed live on SNL. she was DREADFUL. her new ho style is too much. it seems very phony, not to mention, she could barely dance or sing in the get-up she was wearing. she has a nice voice when she uses it. this whole new persona she's marketing is turning her into another jessica simpson. plus, she looks very mannish now.
