2Wow - Helio was just on the View an hour ago saying that he and his fiancee were still going strong, and that Julianne was going to teach them a special dance for the wedding. That's a pretty big lie to say with a straight face.

5I'm sorry, I may have missed something vital here.... Heath has been seen out & about with different girls...maybe even kissing them... That makes him a sleaze? I'm confused. I know plenty of guys who are on the dating scene who go out with various girls and even, gasp, kiss them! None of them are sleazes so why is Heath one?
6Heather Graham's also an ex of Heath's and they've remained friends since their break-up.
Although I still think he's sleazy. It just has nothing to do with who he is or isn't making out with.
7I think that Helio and Julianne are going to come out as a couple pretty soon. That said, I think Mel B. should have won (and by the way I never watched the show before last night but Mel B was a much better dancer, Julianne did all the dancing, Helio just jumped off the stage!)
And I agree with Piscesgirl, it's been since they've split that he's been seen with other women. It's not like he was doing this while they were together, so what's the big deal? Why does anyone have to be labeled a sleaze because they broke up with someone and are moving on with their lives?

16Mel was my pick all season, but I was so disappointed with her final dance on Monday night. As usual, she did a great job but the dance was missing something. I have to say Helio did a great job! As long as Marie didn’t win, I was happy. I know Julianne dated Apolo Anton last year, but I just don’t see the chemistry this year between she and Helio. (not to mention she is what? 19 and he is 32?)
17I was hoping Mel B would have won; she deserved it.
18Mel should have won but I think with her pushy attitude it turned a lot of viewers off . She always had something to say even when the other couples or people were trying to talk (this was throughout the season). She acted like it was in the bag. When she said that there was no 2nd or 3erd place for her, only 1st place, I think some people had the "ok you'll see" attitude.
People always want to see someone being very gracious and I don't think Mel showed that as much as she should have. Maybe it was nervousness, but she talked WAYYY to much and should have let other people have the spotlight instead of wanting it on her all the time.
Just my thoughts on it. She should have won though, she was the best dancer.

21Never watched the show. But a friend who also doesn't watch called it that the dude would win. His theory was that the woman's part in a paired dance is always the harder, flashier role. The audience is naturally drawn to the female so having her be the professional makes the guy celebrity appear more impressive. Seems to have worked every year except the first I guess.

23I don't know if that would be true. In Australia, both men and women win. I haven't seen the dancing on the American one, so I don't know who deserved to win.
