I think this is Mary-Kate and not Ashley. Ashley has a fuller face than this (other than their fashion sense, it's the only way I can tell them apart).

The only time I can tell which Olsen is which is when they use to dress different and when they had different hair colors lol.

i'm 1000% sure that IS marykate not ashley. but they are looking very very similar these days, so i can see why it's easy to confuse the two!

picture #2 screams Ashley but picture #3 screams Mary-kate because of the posture shes in and her shoes are something MK would wear. But i agree these pics are very puzzling!

there's something about being a twin that gives you the power to tell every other twin apart....with that said, this is MK for sure. She's also recently been wearing those jeans with the holes in the knees since she was released from the hospital.

I have absolutely no idea which Olsen that is, and I'm not even going to try and guess. They have to be one of the most identical fraternal twin sets. They are more identical than the medically identical Tia and Tamera Mowry.

i'd put some serious money down that this is ashley...also, they are fraternal, not identical twins, BTW...

This is Mary-Kate for sure. Ashley has fuller lips and slightly more "done" blond locks. I must admit I was def thinking the cover of Nylon looked mighty like Ashley though!

It's most definatly Mary-Kate. It's quite sad I can tell the two apart so well, but it is MK. There are easy ways to tell. 1). MK's face always looks quite drawn and pale in comparison to Ashley who's face is much fuller. Probably down to Mary-Kates eating habits or lack-there-of. 2). Mary-Kate always uses drastic or bold coloured nail polish i.e. black or red. As you can see from the pics above she is wearing black. Ashley on the other hand usually goes without nail polish, however her choice of colour would be a clear nail polish to suit her sophisticated style. 3). Those boots are the creepy looking torture, sorry I mean balanciaga ankle boots MK lived in for about 6 months. Unfortunatly there back but it's a good way of telling them apart. 4). MK's smaller frame and bad posture. Mary-Kate always walks with a slight,or sometimes perfectly noticeable hump on her back, particularly when escaping from the papparrazi. And her weight seems to have dropped again, you can see a slight change between October and now. Although it's probably because she hasn't been well of late, she seems rather thin. Just my analysis.

I'm really digging the music but Mary-kate comes off as disingenuous at times which always disturbs me. It's as if she has something to say but disengages at the last second as if she has donned a conversational muffler. I don't know, something about it just bothers me. Maybe she's just shy?

It's Ashley. This is going to sound gross, but I am really good at telling them apart. I have a sister who is 6 years younger than me, so not only I did go though my Full House phase watching them, but vis my sis, I have also watched all of their movies and other TV shows (yes, they had other TV shows). Anyway, it's Ashley.

I can never tell these two apart, but I'm putting my money on MK!
