Christina Aguilera bares all on the cover of the January issue of Maire Claire, really showing off her baby bump. She's never been shy about showing some skin, but it's funny to think that just a few months ago she was keeping mum about whether or not she was even pregnant. In the article, Christina finally opens up about her pregnancy and more. Here are highlights:
- On when she got pregnant:
"We were planning on starting to try after the tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn't know how much time it would take. You've heard it takes some time -- except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here... I'm like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?" - On keeping the baby secret from her audiences:
"I was paranoid. There are so many things that could go wrong -- somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show. I didn't want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, 'Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be OK?'" - On not getting upset over Paris' big VMA revelation:
"Because I hadn't said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that's not the case at all. I just wasn't commenting. I'm not being like, 'Hey, everybody, I'm pregnant!' I'm not that girl."
Christina certainly draws a lot of attention whether she intends to or not, but we respect that she didn't feel the need to broadcast her news to the world. The pop star is looking healthy and fabulous and we can't help but wonder if her little boy will be here by the time his mommy's cover hits the newsstands.

I would prefer if she scraped off some of the foundation. She is fair skinned yeah, but thats what makes her truly beautiful.

First thing I thought when I saw the cover was I thought pregnant women weren't supposed to drink?
She looks ridiculous not because she's pregnant, but because she just looks to harsh in both photos to over the top and what the hell type of face is that to make for a cover its screams I have morning sickness I suppose, but she makes it raunchy enough for it to scream check out my hang over face if I didn't do a double take. I think they could've made it more tasteful or if not at least made it black and white so not to make her look so cheap and orange.

What's with Christina following Britney's footsteps by doing this cover? And why does she have to be naked? I dunno, this just seems all too familiar to me. Demi Moore did it once (and the best), let's try something new ladies! Be original! WE know that you're sexy pregnant....blah blah blah. I really liked Christy Turlington's pregnancy pictures, they were very natural and set in natural lighting. This is just too Playboy for me.

We don't "all know" anything of the sort. It's generally considered perfectly safe to color your hair while pregnant. The main concern is the fumes, so a well-ventilated place is recommended.
I've been coloring mine with my OB's full approval my entire pregnancy.

28I don't know from experience, but it seems that women get very amazed by their own bodies when they get pregnant and they start to grow. When most celebs get big they have photoshoots, so it doesn't really surprise me.
I think it is great that she and Jordan planned it, though. Very responsible, and I think it is a very healthy mind set for such a HUGE responsibility.

43It really doesn't matter who does a nude pregnant photo because everyone will always say that so and so did it better. What I love about Christina is she is proud of who she is and her sexuality. She is the only one of the pop "tarts" who is completely honest about who she is and where she came from. People want to criticize her for wearing too much makeup or whatever, but I love that she is a strong woman who decides for herself.
