I'm pretty sure I could tell when they actually turned Ashley's mic on so she could say "Happy Holidays" or whatever she said. Seemed like a classic lip sync to me.

Ashley and Taylor Swift cannot sing! You could tell that Celine was lip syncing too. Plus she was inside and I think, pre-recorded. Nick was great. He's going to be on Oprah Dec. 5th to debut a new song,Ordinary Day by Diane Warren, that will be used on her show and I think it's his new single for his new album. Go Nick!

Here’s what I don’t get. Why in the world, whenever Nick Lachey shows his face, does somebody always have to bring up the past? And he doesn’t need to do it either, because it’s not mentally healthy. Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are OVER. It was a done deal before it actually began anyway. Just because two people look good standing next to each other, doesn’t mean their ideal for each other. Adolescents believe in things like that.

Jessica wants too much of all the wrong things at the wrong time. It takes time too get over what you think is your first true love, & them hurting you. Therefore Nick should not rush to be with Jessica because she’s lonely for him...or anybody else for that matter, or just for your viewing pleasure. And Nick cannot rush back down the isle at the wrong time with someone else; just to prove a point to some people. Nick would be doing nothing but punishing himself for the media’s entertainment again. It’s not worth his time, money, image or soul. Too many bad breaks ups will make Nick nothing but a bitter man in the end....towards all women....let the idea of him and his ex ever reuniting again... just go.

And I didn’t see the show. But I do hate it when singers come to events like this with NO medical issues, and they don’t sing on their own. If they’re going to have their song playing while they just stand there, then they should not come at all. What is the point when there is no real medical issue, to even do that? I think it’s just being plain old lazy. Showing up for publicity but they don’t want to work for it.

I watched the show and was just embarrassed for Ashley Tisdale...Not only was her "singing" bad, but gah, she was slinking around the stage and making exaggerated sexy faces! I seriously covered my eyes because it was painful....It's the frickin' tree lighting at Rockefeller, not some burlesque club....no need for pouty faces and droppin' it like it's hot!

I saw it and the singing was not great and I would like
to know why Celine is just "covering" everyone else's
songs!? Her whole album seems to be just her putting
her mark on songs that are better off without her.

And I can’t help it*tkoblondee*...some people see couples together in Hollywood, and honestly believe they should be together for life ~with awful problems~ just because they look cute standing with each other. That’s just crazy for anyone to do in life. Everyone should be happy.

And hiya *bonbonfay* I wasn’t calling YOU and adolescent. I wasn't trying to mean. I meant that just some people like seeing the old, and never want their favorite celebs to be any different. But things change, people change, and situations can get terrible, even though we as outsiders cannot see them. Nick and Jessica have every right to be happy together or apart...I just feel apart would be better so certain reasons.....and it is good to know that Nick does actually have a CD being made for us.
