Rebecca Gayheart, her steamy hubby Eric Dane and Ana Ortiz were among the celebrities out last night at the 15th Annual Divine Design to benefit Project Angel Food. Dane and Ortiz didn't even have to set their TiVos to watch themselves on Grey's and Ugly Betty since it was a rerun night. Booooo. That doesn't mean there wasn't fun TV this week (yay) — so test how well you were paying attention with Buzz's Quiz. I got 6/8, how about you?

3I was always sketched out by the fact that she hit and killed that kid. And then kept driving and flipped her car. I wonder why Lindsay and Paris get all the flack when they never killed anyone yet she doesn't.

9misslarue and snowbunny11 - She's [unfortunately] been involved in two accidents.
The first accident (resulting in vehicular manslaughter) happened in June 2001. She was talking on her cell phone and swerved into a left lane to go around other cars that had stopped to let a 9-year old boy cross the street. He died the next day due to head injuries. She was not intoxicated.
She did not flip her car during the first accident. That happened later in 2001 when she was driving a rental, which she flipped into two parked cars. I haven't heard about any injuries etc from that.

I know everyone makes mistakes, but at least the way it was worded in that article made it seem like she was driving really carelessly when the other cars had stopped and she couldn't be bothered to stop. I mean, the other accident was separate, the car flipping, but that was AFTER...you think she would start being careful!
I suppose it sucks to be a celeb and have your dirty
laundry aired, but honestly it does seem strange that popsugar and other entertainment news outlets let her have a pass and then rag on Lindsay's addictions and DUI's! Obviously DUI's are serious, but it almost seems like we have a witch hunt with the DUI's even when no harm occurs other than the potential to harm. This woman killed a kid because of reckless driving! Lohan has just killed her brain cells so far...tho I suppose she dearly needs them!!!
And Eric Dane is hot even though I don't watch Gray's...yet!
