We were just saying how Riley Giles was on the way out, and now we hear she kicked him to the curb right after Thanksgiving in NY. Lindsay was sick of his pouting about the paparazzi and her friends weren't happy that he always let LL pick up the tab. We think she can definitely do better, especially since it sounds like she doesn't have the finances to support a mooching boy. After legal bills, pricey rehab, and not working as much, Lindsay's supposedly hurting for money — even trying (unsuccessfully) to shop family Thanksgiving photos to magazines and getting paid to pose during her shopping trip with Ali. Maybe she should focus on more conventional ways of getting paid — like her acting and music — rather than selling out her family. At least shopping at American Apparel is a good step away from the Chanel.

And while I hope that she never goes back to her former self...for her own personal sake...reading about her hanging with old friends, certainly doesn't make the future look too bright.

20While I didn't personally know Riley, calling him a mooch is pretty unfair. Just because two people aren't in the same financial and tax bracket doesn't mean they can't date and possibly marry one another, and it doesn't make the person with less a mooch. That would mean that a celeb could only marry another celeb OR someone from a wealthy family. That's living in a box.

The problem is, in rehab they will tell you that becoming involved with another addict going through the same stage is a really really bad idea.
Not that it surprises me at all that Lindsay ignores rehab counseling advice.

40I love her.... And seriously, she can't tackle all of her issues at once... If she was battling substances in rehab it stands to reason should couldn't knock out all of her relationship/male issues at the same time. All of this 'growing up' and maturing will take time.
I really hope she has a "come back" in film/TV, it would be a shame to let her talent go to waste when people like Winehouse continue to get paid.
41I hope that Lindsay broke up with Riley because she realised it wasn't a good idea being in a relationship, especially with someone just out of rehab like herself, and that she wants to be single to work through her problems. I hope it's not because she's heading back towards her old life, but when she's started hanging with people in her old crowd, there could be a relapse in her future.

45I can't say I like her work but she is an attractive girl. I actually think he was a liability to her. The production houses are really spooked by her considering her lack of work ethic, time spent in rehab, etc. Keeping her nose clean literally and figuratively and changing her ways might bring the production houses back into thinking she is a good risk. Without that, she will find getting work very difficult. Just my $.02...
