There's not point in taking a mold if you're going to make the shoe a size or two bigger. There's no way to know if the shape of the foot will stay the same, or if the growing will be making it wider. The whole point of a mold is a custom-fit.

It's beyond ridiculous.

I'm in the minority here. I think the Cruises can easily afford these custom-made shoes, so what's the big deal? They earned their money, they can spend it any way they want to. Besides, I know many parents who spend extra money on personalized/customized items for their children. It's not a big deal. JMHO.

Zahara's purse was a gift the designer made for her. Angie didn't request it or spend any money on it. Also, Zahara could use that her entire life if she were compelled. Even as an adult it would be a small bag, but not like shoes a toddler outgrows in a few months.

That's exactly the point, they're OVERPAID. I don't think it's fair that we worship people spend $1000+ on a pair of shoes (much less a pair of shoes that'll be destroyed or outgrown in a matter of months or weeks, even) while others go starving in the streets.
