Lauren Conrad happily modeled yellow and purple bikinis for the January issue of Shape magazine in which she chalked her toned physique up to frequent small meals, working out, eating lots of veggies and fish. Pretty standard, though she does say that her cute exercise wardrobe is what kicked her into high gear. The real juicy stuff is from last night's episode (before next week's shocking! Season! 7Shape definitely did airbrush her tummy and hips. She does look really good these days, but she is slightly hippier than that and her stomach is a little less toned. She looks so good in candid pap pictures. It is a shame that Shape felt they had to airbrush her...

10I think Shape airbrushes more women that other health magazines, such as Fitness. You'll notice on the Kelly Ripa Shape cover that her belly button was turned into an innie, while on the Fitness cover, her belly buttom is her outie. Hmm... seems a bit much to me!!
I do think Lauren looks great here. And whether or not she's airbrushed, good for her for working to stay healthy and in shape! (no pun intended
) I know that when I'm in gear with my workouts, how my clothes fit makes me SUPER pumped to
keep it up!

12you know, i don't even watch the hills or whatever show she's from and i'm not really that interested in her since i never followed whatever career she has, but from the posts and from the pictures and her clothes, she's growing on me. still haven't seen any of her shows,though but she looks good.

1) If you were to be on the cover of a magazine that people all over the world will be seeing, wouldn't you suck your stomach in too? I'd totally tense my abs!
2) It puzzles me that people still yell "AIRBRUSHED!!" everytime they see a magazine cover - there are magazines that DON'T airbrush??
3) Who doesn't want to look good in their clothes? Sure, many of the people on here may be more interested in health and fitness, but looking good is also a benefit!
4) Just be happy for her. At least she's not stick thin and weak looking!

SOMEONE else must have noticed by now how pretty much every woman on the cover of Shape ALWAYS has the exact same figure. Pretty much. Abs all exactly the same, every much in the tummy in the exact same alignment, hips similar width/ cut, etc.

"Brittany Canada Wh*re" called into the aftershow in Canada. I'm not sure whether it was her or someone pretending to be, but either way the caller was not the sharpest pencil in the box. She didn't seem phased by the name at all.

33totally airbrushed, but i think she looks great in real life (meaning, not quite as thin or toned). it is "shape" magazine though --- if the magazine doesn't like the "shape" she's in, maybe she shouldn't be on the cover...

39Britany Canada wh*re actually phoned in to the Hills Aftershow last night and explained her side of the story..she was shocked..she sounded really nice and sweet..poor girl..you can't judge just cuz Brody made a comment..
40Ok people... there is a difference between AIRBRUSHING and PHOTOSHOPPING. Airbrushing is used to do things like even out skin tone and remove a blemish. Photoshopping can take an 300 lbs woman and turn her into Nicole Richie. I think that airbrushing is totally acceptable on a magazine cover. No one wants to stare at LC's under-eye circles. But I think it is deceptive of magazines to take an already thin or fit person and make them even skinnier by removing inches. Clearly Lauren looks gorgeous and fit on her show. Why is that not enough, particularlly for a magazine that claims to promote a healthy lifetsyle and body image.

I definitely concur w/ the other posters who contend her hips and belly have been digitally whittled. She is rather short in stature and carries the brunt of her weight in the lower portion of her body. She isn't ugly but there is nothing outstanding about her. Her sense of entitlement and rather vapid personality are what make her most distasteful to me.
44Just find her an ordinary plain-looking girl, no matter how gussied-up she gets. Boring, blah and uninteresting. Meh.
