Kate Hudson is a woman of many winter coats, but she left the fur at home after her D&G event. Monday night Kate caught up with her ex Chris Robinson over dinner at Bar Pitti with Ryder. Gotta love Ryder's suspicious little face peeking out from under his big hood. Yesterday Kate and Ryder hit the streets solo, and then it was all about girl time as Kate strolled arm in arm through NYC with her friend. One person probably doesn't need so many fabulous coats, but we've got to give credit to Kate for keeping stylishly warm through the winter.

6If you live in New York, you can never have too many coats. They become your outfit because most of the time you don't take them off.
7It's very difficult to walk around NYC with a toddler. Foot traffic is ridiculous, especially in places like SOHO and the Village. So it's very common to see older toddlers in strollers. HELL, I'll stroll my 9 year old around in NYC if I had to!!!
8My parents never strolled me around NYC growing up. I either walked holding a parents hand, or was carried when needed.

20I live in NYC and have many assorted coats (not including the real, freezing weather coats), hoodies, fleece wear, and pullovers. You have to have a variety because the daily + or - 10 to 15º can make a big difference in clothing needs... plus, being mobile and going in and out of buildings and the subway, which feel about 80º, means you have to layer different weights, bulks, etc.
Her whole family is gorgeous, even Chris. Her black and white coat is pretty gorgeous too!

23I live in NYC and have multiple coats, no big deal there
And I made the mistake of going for a looooong walk in the city with my nephew and when he fell asleep I almost didn't make it home. He was soooo heavy, I mean like dead weight. And you can't take a cab without the car seat. Sooooo yeah a toddler in a stroller isn't a bad thing. It's convenient for when you're doing more than walking around the block. Can't believe we're even making this an issue ????? He's not 7 and in a stroller.
