Lionel only adopted her because her father "Peter Michael Escovedo" who is a Latino singer, financially thought Ritchie could do better and Nicole would have more opportunities in life. Lionel said that her real dad and mom would bring Nicole to the recording studio's when she was a little girl and he just fell in love with her because she was so smart and funny. She started out by having sleep overs with Lionel's kids and it seemed like Nicole was always there, so they took it a step farther with adoption. I also don't think she's huge at all. I'd never put her at a month or so away from her due date if she was a stranger I saw on the street. I'd guess 6 or 7 months, tops.

for her small frame, this being her first child, and the way her belly looks I definitely think she's going into her 9th and final month (36 weeks)of pregnancy. I'd say she's going to have the baby near the end of this month or for sure by mid January.
