While Tom was off supporting his buddy Will Smith across America, Katie Holmes held down the fort in LA yesterday. She left her mini shopping partner at home this time around, but still took a page from Suri's book and got in the holiday spirit with some festive red pants. Tom and Katie looked like they were having lots of fun cheering on the Spice Girls last week and the two caught the show again in Vegas on Sunday. Now that Tom's away and Suri's at home, Katie has alone time to find the perfect holiday gifts for the family.

I think she look's great.. She normally dresses to old so it's nice to see her trying something new! I'm really liking the red jeans.. I know she hasn't got any make up on.. but to me that's always a relief to see a celeb looking normal!

I know I should find it endearing that they share a haircut, but it's kinda starting to wig me out (no pun intended). I know mothers and daughters look alike every day...but the hair makes it just too...I don't know, forced? I'm not trying to pick on Katie, necessarily. I just can't put my finger on why it's a bit creepy to me.... Desperate...? Dunno.

Since she's been with TommyGirl, Katie has aged big time. I would guess her age at late 30's, possibly 40's now. This outfit is no more attractive than anything else she wears. With the exception of the money she has from marrying TommyGirl, she's ruined her life.

I like her look and bag and prefer her with no makeup. I like the now woman beautiful confident Katie than the cutie pie Katie.
Its cool that she could care less being in the public eye and stalked even with no makeup. She is being herself and comfortable about it.
