The last thing I thought I'd wake up to yesterday morning was the news that Jessica Alba is pregnant, but here we are. And here she is, out on her balcony showing that her bump is definitely not growing all that much just yet. Plus! What's that ring on her finger? Looks more like a band than any sort of gaudy engagement ring, but I definitely could see Jess and Cash getting to the altar before her late spring/early summer due date. Still all a little surreal, right? Though this is definitely the most excited I've ever been about seeing Jessica Alba photos.

5Most of these celebs won't announce that they are pregnant until they have a huge belly. Jessica opts to do the opposite and announce it before she even has a slight bump
6She comes from a conservative Catholic family and from what I've read in the past, seems to really care about what her father thinks, so I would not be surprised to see her get married.

15i think it was smart announcing it before all the baby bump speculations started...but at least wait to make sure you don't lose it...I mean they tell you to wait 3 months before you tell your family and friends, let alone the world.

I don't know allot about her.. I've never seen or hear her give an interview.. But to me she's never the kind of celeb thats been "look at me shopping", "look at me filling up my car"... I know there's a lot of support for people who are having a baby together to get married, but I hope that people don't get married just for that reason. 44People sometimes women just dont show it, my neighbor when she got pregnant I am telling you she had no bump at all until the 6 month, she even used to wear her normal jeans until she was 7º month. Her stomach only start to show in the 8º month, but if someone didn’t know that she was pregnant could easily say that she just gained weight.
45If she's due late spring, she could be out of her first trimester and feel she's enough out of danger to make a public announcement. Lots of women don't show until a good 5 months pregnant, if even then.
I agree with whoever said yesterday that you can't win. Don't announce and you get crap for it, announce and you get crap for it.

48I just cannot picture this girl pregnant. She isn't even showing so why did she come out and tell everyone? I mean, it was annoying that Christina was huge before she said she was pregnant? I understand waiting the 3 months especially if you are a celeb, but how is she so opposed to doing nude scenes but will have a baby out of wedlock? I am just shocked she is pregnant. At least they have been together awhile. The Nicole thing was just trashy. They dated for like 2 months and then she was pregnant. Trash.

When Christina and JLo wouldn't announce it everyone was complaining and asking "why doesn't she just announce it already, it's so stupid, we can see that she's pregnant!"
Then everyone was saying how horrible that Paris announced Nicole's pregnancy. Cavalli announced JLo's pregnancy. I think it was Paris that announced Christina's pregnancy too. ??
So maybe, JUST MAYBE, Jessica Alba didn't want the speculation craze about her pregnancy. Maybe she didn't want Paris to announce her pregnancy to the world.
I think it's just sad that such a happy time in someone's life, celeb or not, and they have to be dragged through the mud about it.
