The stars of Grey's Anatomy were out picketing in support of their writers (or former writers, as the case may be, Isaiah Washington?) yesterday. This morning was a bittersweet one for the show, as it was nominated for two Golden Globes — Best Dramatic Series as well as Heigl for Best Supporting Actress. Naturally, Heigl spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what this means. She said, "I'm not crossing the picket line — not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so — which the Golden Globes I'm not." In brighter Writers Guild news, they just released their nominees for this year's WGA Awards and while Grey's didn't pick up any nods, some great and very deserving shows did. Check out the list here.

I do have to give her credit for not wanting to cross the line.
Am I missing something? What show is Britney Daniel on that isn't Sweet Valley High?
I guess she doesn't wanna piss off anymore ppl.
Ugh. Why oh why is she nominated. And you know she's going to win. Such a disappointment. But then again, quite a few of the nominations, or lack thereof I should say, are disappointing.
This is never going to end...
"Naturally, Heigl spoke".....
of course she did........
emosays she is on football wives or something like that!
I don't think she should have gotten nominated. I don't see her as a Golden Globe Winner.
I don't like that people hate her for speaking her mind. I think she's such a strong and passionate woman. Maybe I don't always agree with things she does (for example, smoking! ick!), but I love that she has an opinion and doesn't hide it.
Oh, please tell me it isn't true she was nominated again - why??? There are other fabulous actresses on Grey's, I truly don't get this.
Are they ever going to negotiate new contracts...
Nice to see Isaiah Washington. His character is really missing from Grey's Anatomy.
Brittany Daniel is on the CW show "The Game" with Tia Mowry.
Sandra Oh's storyline was so much stronger than Katherine Heigl's last season...with helping out Dr. Burke with the hand injury and the impending wedding...she should have been nominated.
I know it is very un-PC of me, but I am so tired of this strike!
I TOTALLY agree tia! Fine if she gets it once, I won't begrudge her but why the second nomination? Sandra Oh is a fabulous actress and I agree that her story line was so much stronger.
Brittany Daniel is on The Game which is a great show! So much drama this season! Sandra Oh should have gotten nominated.
Katherine Heigl can't hold a candle to Sara Ramirez talent-wise. And this strike sucks. All the people out of work because of it, and I'm not talking about the actors, who can afford to be out of work for a bit, I'm talking about the stagehands, caterers, cameramen... it's a selfish, selfish strike.
why is she nominated...again? and i agree with tiabia and le e that sandra's storyline was way better than hers.
My fave on Grey's has been and will keep on being Chandra Wilson; she was getting lots more plot before the strike struck
And and yeah - The Game is really good! Loving the drama.
Can we start a fan strike? No more Heigl or we don't watch.
I have no idea how she gets nominated let alone win awards. She's starting to be just as annoying as her character is on Grey's.
I miss Dr. Burke/Isaiah on Grey's...
Katherine Heigl needs to SHUT UP!
"Can we start a fan strike? No more Heigl or we don't watch."
haha,it's funny.
But i like Katherine Heigl,i think she is nice.
