Nick Lachey wore his hometown proudly on his chest at a rehearsal for Clash of the Choirs in NYC yesterday. Seeing Team Cincinnati we can't help but be reminded about those infamous Team Nick/Team Jessica shirts. The four-night holiday special kicks off tonight and even though most of you aren't that interested in checking it out, Nick thinks that you may want to change your mind, saying, "People are going to be surprised at what choirs can do." We may have to give Nick and his other famous choirmasters a chance, at least for tonight, besides, with the writers' strike, the primetime pickings are pretty slim these days.

i pass..
1Me too.
2same!
3I am starting to think he is cute again..
4Nick has always striked me as a down to earth type of guy, so good for him. The upcoming TV schedule looks brutal. Also, we do they have to make this a competition type show. Can't they showcase choirs singing holiday music with a little celebrity tied in on the side?
5I think I'm going to watch. I sing in music ensembles in college, so it's something that's interesting to me.
6He`s cute !!!
7Yeah, he was not cute for a while, but i think he looks good here....but Jessica Minillo or whatever still makes me want to throw up.
8No thanks i'll pass but my Gram sure would love it..she ♥ Micheal bolton!
9
I love Michael Bolton too..
10I think he's gorgeous, always have.
11i know , there was a short period of time where he looked just plain ugly .
12Clash of the Choirs??????
*rolls eyes*
13this and Crowned is what is on now, hehe oh no!"silent but deadly" it is.
but nick looks adorable!
14Cincinnati loves Lachey!
15I think Nick is great. I'm into all kinds of music so I want to watch. I used to be in an acappella group.
16His group is going to sing "Unwritten" I believe tonight. Nick implied in an article that if they get passed the first round, that they will be singing a very creative unique song that will blow people away. Looking forward to watching but I saw photos from dress rehersal and some choirs need a stylist.
I'll pass too
17Aw he is really cute!
18Chubby shorty.
19does nothing for me.
20Man was the author of this story right when she stated...
"With the writers' strike, the primetime pickings are pretty slim these days".
21I will never get this mess that they place on television these days. Whatever happened to telling a good story that people were intrigued to tune into each night. Grown couple’s can’t even sit together and get quality entertainment anymore.
Everything is reality and a mess for the whole family to see. Talk about taking a looooong time to change this whole ~mess up~ on television. Nothing is quality or worthy anymore. I’m out there trying to make some serious change for us all. Television has gotten pathetic.
22I had zero interest until I heard that Nick Lachey was involved. I always liked him from "Newlyweds" so I'm gonna give it a shot.
However, I can definitely do without Maria Menounos. Why do people still give her hosting duties after she embarrassed America Ferrerra on LIVE television - mere moments after America won a Best Actress Golden Globe for "Ugly Betty???" *rolls eyes*
23I miss him and his boys in 98 degrees
24I think this show was planned before the writers strike I think it's something for the last week before Christmas. They usually have repeats this time of year anyway. The powers the be think that the public will be busy with holiday activities.
25Clash of the choirs? That sounds like it's really scraping the barrel.
26I don't think I'll tune in to the show..but I love seeing pics of Nick! Makes me miss his 98 degrees/newlyweds fame......I've had a thing for him for about 9 years now haha.
27I tivo it and it was not half bad. I watched it while cleaning the house, gotta say Nick is cute and I like how down to earth he seems to be.
28It doesn’t matter if this was planned before the writers strike or not. What I said still stands in my book, and it also looks to be everybody else’s too.
There was and still is not much quality in television anymore. Television is more about competition and shaming people. It’s one of the reasons why children act the way that they do. Too many parents sit them there and the children believe everything to be reality, even the movies. But it is more of a joke on many levels.
People like Tyler Perry are trying to give you laughter while you learn something about family at the same time. To here Tyler speak on television and in person is riveting. To know that there is still someone out there in a power position, that wants not only grown ups to learn something but children too is wonderful. Parents want that....and parents need that. Good parents want to sit down with the whole family and watch good television, while laughing & learning together.
29Too many young people look up to alcoholics, drug addicts, wh*res, are losers, just because these people *sometimes* physically look good, and use to be something in the beginning of their careers. It’s not a safe life for anyone to live or look up too. It is degrading in the end.
I don’t care how many expensive restaurants, clothes, and homes you can afford. They have no morals and all they want is your money so they can buy more for themselves. And their attitude is not something that the good Lord would appreciate either. This is why a lot of intelligent people on here will say NO to reality shows. Even if they are NOT degrading to any one individual, then most of them are still not fun to watch.
And when it comes to the writers strike, “the powers that be” know many things. Most of them knew what was coming before the media did. They always do. Therefore they knew they would be doing exactly what *Pink_Magnetism* stated, “Scraping the bottom of the barrel”.
Hollywood has a loooong way to go when it comes to reviving itself to the way it use too be. Where people are MADE to still show their talents, because what they USE to do career wise that made them *a somebody*, is NO more. I don’t care how cute they were or still may be to some people. Having no talent, no morals, no career, and no willingness to be more than what they where or could be to some, is what most of them have now in their later years of life.
Oh, and even if we’re “busy with holiday activities” as someone stated, I still want to watch something nice when I finally do sit down and want entertainment.
30Go Team Lachey!!
31That is soooo OLD!!!
Is it possible to get something new?
32Ehhh... sometimes I wonder where they continue coming up with these reality shows, especially the ones that involve singing of some sort.
33Boooooorrring!
34nick is soo cute! and his choir was awesome too...♥
