After Britney skipped out on her deposition (and then proceeded to leave her house late at night) last week, Kevin Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan was ready to take action and didn't want Britney to have any more allowances. Now we're hearing that he's planning to go to court today to talk to the judge about Britney's behavior. Supposedly he may ask that Britney's custody privileges be revoked until she sits for the deposition, and may try to prevent Britney's lawyers to get Kevin's deposition until Britney gives hers. He also wants to push back the hearing to determine custody of the kids and whether or not Britney can drive the boys again from January to April.
On a happier note for Brit, even though her album dropped off the charts pretty quickly, she came in at No. 1 on a Billboard poll for best album of the year. The results were determined by visitors of Billboard.com, so it sounds like Britney still has a large base of loyal fans to rely on despite her trainwreck of a year.

Apparently, TMZ has been asked to provide video of that same day when she was out at gas stations after being too "traumatized" to attend the deposition.

14Well, um at least she is covered up. The only thing that I can say that is positive. She needs to show up for her deposition, anxiety or not. Showing up is a good way to prove that she cares to the judge. She is hopeless.

Billboard actually discussed "them" on page 2 of the issue following the big Eagles upset. Billboard said that over 600 of them sent modified form letters saying they would "cancel their prescription" to Billboard because of the Eagles ruling.
It is pretty sad when hundreds of people are such followers that they would all confuse "subscription" with "prescription". Billboard knows that these people who fill out polls and send out spam emails are not actually translating into cd sales (she hasn't even sold a million yet). If they don't buy in significant numbers, they don't really matter.

26Thank goodness Kaplan is following through on her inexcusable behaviour of skipping out on her deposition. The situation she's in with the court and losing her children is very serious. But, it often takes a backseat when she manages to put clothes on or releases a new video. People might be willing to put aside the mess that she is in personally and dance to the beat of her lackluster music but thankfully the courts won't.

31One sign I saw in patients using crack was the constant picking at their skin and nails. Same with the methamphetamine users, so take your pick! Ever notice that she gets a manicure and within 2 days her nails are gross again, and bitten down to the nubs??

49At least she's wearing clothes in this picture. But her chest is a testament to the merits of sunscreen. She's going to be like leather in less than 10 years. And looking at her nails literally makes me shiver...ugh, gross. But, like I said, yay for clothes...one step at a time I guess. When are the courts finally going to crack down on her? Enough is enough.
