Britney Spears is in denial as much as we are about the crazy news that her baby sister is 12 weeks pregnant. She supposedly found out the same way we did since Jamie Lynn and Momma Spears sold their story to OK! magazine and didn't even clue her in beforehand. Even with the shocking news, Britney carried on with her usual routine of shopping and changing outfits for the paparazzi just hours after it hit the wire. Brit's closest camera friends were there to catch her reaction or shall we say denial. Brit told the cameras, "My sister's not pregnant!, W-H-A-T--E-V-E-R." It's still hard to think that Jamie Lynn can really be pregnant and apparently Britney feels the same way. We thought we already covered all the shocking celeb pregnancies of 2007 but who knew the last few weeks of the year would pull out such crazy news.

1How would she know? I thought she had a strained relationship with her mom and sister, and many other family members for that matter. Did Jamie tell her directly that she is not pregnant? I don't think so, Britney is just in denial. It's sad when you find out that your little sister is pregnant through a mgazine.

I think Brit's mom must regret getting them into showbiz - it might not be the root of all their troubles but at the same time , but the 2 girls did grow up in the public eye - and I'm sure with all the money that they are making they feel that they don't need to be ruled by their parents - I mean the older brother turned out okay (right ??)

44What a shame. JL had it all. She was young, famous, rich, had a hit TV show - even tho it was a kids' show, she probably would have gotten offers to do movies and so much more once her show ended. So many opportunities. How can people not know about birth control at this day and age? I doubt Nickolodeon or wherever her kid's show is on is not too happy that their 16 year old star is pregnant. 49The entire family is in serious denial over their own behavior (parents and all) and the consequences of their actions. The parents need to get their own jobs and stop living off of their daughters' careers. That would be a start to having the whole family be more on the end of the scale that might lead them to being more normal.
