Never one to shy away from makeup, even when eight months pregnant, Christina Aguilera celebrated her 27th birthday in LA with Jordan yesterday. While partying is fun, the pop star has other important birthdays on the brain. Apparently Christina has already scheduled a C-section for Jan. 10. She may have to move up the date of delivery, but it sounds like she's trying to coordinate things with her busy holiday schedule. She's also having another baby shower — this time at the Bel-Air Hotel with just close friends. Seems like this mommy-to-be is going to have a very busy and joyous holiday season.
More of Christina and Jordan so just read more

i had no idea she was prego ...geez.... where have i been ?
1is this babysugar..or POPsugar..all these baby news..
but good for christina..hope the
comes out healthy!.
2If she needs to move it up, I doubt it's to coordinate with her schedule. Implies a medical reason to me.
Best of luck to her, hope it goes well and she has an easy recovery!
3Finally! A story about a MARRIED woman having a baby! Shocking as it is...
4
5her datebook looks like this: jan 9th get mystic tan hair cut and false eyelashes reapplied jan 10th pick up drycleaning, have a baby, dinner with friends. such is the life of a popstar
6i wonder why a C-section. hope everything is okay.
7don't alot of celebs have c-sections,if they can take a dick coming in,can't they take the baby coming out of the same hole..
I hope everything is ok though..
8How can she look in the mirror and not see a clown face staring back at her? She seriously needs to lay off with the make up. She never really striked me as the mommy type either, but hey at least she's married and out of highschool.
9C-section? girly, take care! she looks great here.
10I like her. Im sure there is a good reason for a c-section.
11"How can she look in the mirror and not see a clown face staring back at her?"
Seriously. Is it just me or does she look exactly like Alexis Arquette wearing a baby pillow?
12I always wonder when I hear about celebrity c-sections. It seems like more and more women are "opting" for surgery over natural birth. Not my preference, but I guess it's not my business.
13
@ Greggie..I think he looks better than her..
14Cue, the endless too much makeup comments. I am amazed at the judgment that people are throwing her way about the C-section when they have absolutely no idea if it is medically necessary or not. She is a teeny, tiny woman and maybe it is on doctor's orders. Give her a break.
15I wore makeup daily with each of my (5) pregnancies. Big deal....
16tko,I am sure you didn't look like a clown though
17i dont think they would intentionally want to have a C section...it is worse, in several different ways.
18Did anyone say wearing make-up in general is harmful to pregnancy?
We're predictable with the "wow that's some crappy caked on make-up" comments and others are predictable with the "Oh here we go again" comments. It's what makes life fun.
19Hopey1...I doubt it, and she isn't THAT teeny tiny, if anyone is, it's Nicole Richie. The ladies just think their vayays are going to be exposed and all...don't worry, in a few years I bet natural birth is going to be the thing to do.
20I think the coat is really cute! I really like Christina because I think she is very talented and has really matured over the years. Her make up style isn't for me, but it's her face. Whatev.
21I agree with hopey1 - who knows why she's having a c-section. It's very possible that the baby is in the breech position and that's why she's unable to have a vaginal birth. That's happened to many of my friends. You never know really, so don't be so quick to judge!
22I'm teeny tiny and it has nothing to do with my inability to give birth vaginally. The woman's size simply isn't an indication, there can be dozens of other factors going into why she may or may not need one. My inability to give birth vaginally is my cervix, not my body type.
23Okay so Angelina Jolie's Shilo was in a breech position, Cruz Beckham was in a breech position,so on and so on...I think its a fad.

25"She is a teeny, tiny woman and maybe it is on doctor's orders. Give her a break."
Yeah, because tiny women have NEVER given birth vaginally over the last few thousands of years. C-sections are given WAY TOO LIBERALLY and I highly doubt that this case is anything other than the standard scheduling of a mother to be who doesn't want to have her baby when her baby wants to come out.
26I stopped fighting the *too much makeup* bs. It's apparently fun to say mean sh*t from your cubicle.
with or without it, she looks great, so keep 'em coming.
27I agree that it's a trend and that c-sections are WAY too easily given. I just don't think it's fair to decide on an individual basis which ones are and aren't without the information.
Britney, for instance, flat out said she did it to avoid labor. Pass judgment on that one. Christina, we have no idea why.
28hm..I just figured women prefer c-sections because it's obviously less painful than child birth (although recovery is supposed to be a lot harder). Whatever, to each her own.
29Good enough answer for me Greggie.
30I'll baby sit haha
31Who cares if she has a C-section? Even if it is for completly vain reasons, its her body! And how does anyone know that there isnt a medical condition that would require her to have a c-section? Lay off
32Regardless of the make up choices she makes overall Christina is a cool girl. She has a close relationship with her family and husband, has chummy relationships with fellow Pop Stars like Gwen Stefani, and a C-section is the way to go in Hollywood of course with a little tummy tuck in between
33I know just as many regular women who have had c-sections as have had there kids vaginally. Its not uncommon in the real world for women to have c-sections, so why does everyone make such a big deal when a celeb does it?
34Regarding C-sections, I know of some doctors who recommend it for vanity reasons, not just medical reasons. Shocking, but true.
35The thing is that c-sections are PROVEN to be more risky than vaginal deliveries. More chances of things going wrong after the fact.
I totally agree that it's a woman's right to choose since it is her body but I think the doctors are not completely honest with these women. It's sold to the celebs as an elistist way to have your baby. Schedule it when you want it, have a simultaneous tummy tuck, avoid pain, etc. But in reality the recovery is much longer, the surgery is much riskier and it's a more invasive procedure.
But whatev. What's good enough for angelina is good enough for christina.
36It doesn't shock me, GlowingMoon. I know more than one who's offered a c-section "to maintain vaginal integrity."
37vaginal integrity............LOL
why did brit brit get one???
38Maybe her baby is in breech position and hasn't changed. That could be the reason for the C-section.
39Jan. 10! So exciting!
40Whatever, I want a C-Section too!
Hmmm...once the baby is ready to pop out, then screw the "vaginal integrity."
Looking at that
pic, normally I don't see the wife guiding the man by the hand. Go X-tina!
41letsgetloud21...your comment (#8) is so hilariously crass, LOL...I love it!!!
Finally a little bit of normality. Now I need a Garner-Affleck post and I will know all is still right in this world
42I could swear Britney just said she didn't want to do labor, so she had a c-section. I could be wrong, though, given my bias toward Britney.
I admit to being jealous that celebrities can get a doctor to tuck a little tummy with a c-section but I can't. They laugh at me when I ask. Hmph.
43i wonder how many pots of eyeshadow she goes through every week...
44That's my adorable nieces 2nd bday!
45I don't know I have a feeling she decided to have one but at this point, all I care about is she's one of the few in Hollywood who has a seemingly normal, stable relationship and will be a great mom, I think.
46ugh. i cant stand this broad. pregnant or not.
47when you're pregnant, aren't you supposed to NOT wear nail polish? albeit, we're wearing the exact same shade at the moment but still...
btw, i'm not preggers.
48Why wouldn't you be allowed to wear nail polish? I have pedicures done every few weeks on my pregnant toes. That's one I've never heard before.
49I feel sorry for Jordan - he looks baffled by this. She must make his life miserable.
