Yesterday's far less shocking newly pregnant celebrity, Lily Allen, was spotted out shopping with her boyfriend Ed Simons in London today looking happy as can be with the whole world knowing their news. The couple has only been together since September and clearly aren't wasting any time with things. Instead of selling their tell-all interview to a magazine, however, Lily's rep issued a statement. It said:
"I am pleased to confirm that Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons are expecting their first child. However, as the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news. Lily's new album will be released as planned next year."
Gotta love the album plug at the end there. I guess it's time to issue a congratulations to the happy couple? With there already being rumors and photos of her smoking recently, hopefully everything with the pregnancy goes along smoothly. Hey, knowing how open Lily is on her blog, I'm sure she'll be telling the world all about it and exactly how it's making her feel.

5I actually find this news ALOT more shocking that the JL crap...why would anyone be surprised that the youngest daughter of the trashiest family in hollywood got pregnant at 16? Seems right in line with everything else wrong with that family.
Lily being pregnant on the other hand...its just wierd. I cannot fathom her being a mother. I like her and all, shes so spunky and doesnt take crap from anyone. But shes also very immature and is known to be a pretty big partier...hopefully she can drop all the bad habits for the health of her baby.

30What's with all the celebrity pregnancies? Are some of them starting to feel left out because they're not pregnant or something? First it was Jessica Alba, and now Little Miss Spears and Lily. At this point, I'M starting to feel left out because I'm not pregnant.
31I'd say Jamie Lynn will make a better mother, Lily seems more immature to me than a 16 year old. And a baby after three months? I'll hold my breath till he's gone.
32Its not fair to judge based on the length of her relationship to Ed.....there are lots of people who make things work with no problems after a few months. My parents who married after 2 months of dating are still married 34 years...and i who got pregnant after four months of being with my husband and we are still very very happy. It CAN happen. I'm happy for her!
