Jessica Alba got all wrapped up in her pompom scarf to do some shopping around LA yesterday. This is the first time Jessica has looked even remotely pregnant, but that's probably more because of her choice of coat than a big bump. You guys didn't think that her pregnancy was the most shocking of 2007, but clearly nothing tops Jamie Lynn's baby news. Some might say that Alba's thunder was stolen, but considering how she enjoys her privacy we have a feeling that she might be happier keeping her bump out of the spotlight for a while even though she has supposedly been offered magazine covers a la Britney and Demi. Of course with this pregnancy also comes plenty of engagement rumors so who knows what to believe.

I think it's funny that we went from XTina and JLo who so obviously had buns in their ovens and walked around with bumps without confirming it for the longest time to Jamie-Lynn, Lily, and Jessica who aren't showing at all and announce it to the world anyhow. Huh.

11She knows how hungry paps are for baby bump pics, so to announce before showing or a rumor was kinda asking for it. Shes not being stalked for that first baby bump pic, putting herself in danger and basiscally throwing away her privacy. I did like her waaay back when she starred in that TV show, Flipper but over the years ive pretty muched ignored her because I just dont get it.
And i really need to know whats the weather like over there, cause Im in NYC with 30 degree weather and Jessica bundled up more than i am.

19If she hadn't announced it the press started floating rumours then she'd be labelled as and asking for publicity. Now that she's announced it before all the silly speculation starts she's still asking for publicity.
At least the people who said they can't stand her straight up were being honest.
It does prove that what they do doesn't make any difference - the press will follow them anyway and the people that dislike them will always find a reason to 'justify' their dislike.

32I have a theory that she announced it so that she wouldn't have to see articles trying to figure out if she was pregnant or just putting on weight. From interviews it seems that people thinking she was fat would be one of her worst nightmares.
33She's incredible. I understand a celebrity is entitled to a certain level of privacy, but every picture of her looks like she's pissed off. She's pregnant, most women would be all smiles for weeks! Smile, dammit!
