I get where her look is going but it's less interesting on her. Her Birkin is to die for but a little to big for everyday life. I've always thought that size to be appropriate for traveling. I think it's funny that all these society women and celebrities carry this bag because it symbolizes wealth and class if only they knew and really appreciated the women Hermes named the bag after Jane Birkin who is anything but fussy.

I'm a fan of Katie's new style sense generally, but she does look way too old here.

She does dress much older than her age, but can you even imagine her life now? She is married to Tom Cruise who is a little weird at times, but he is still Tom Cruise who was sexy as all get out in Cocktail and Mission Impossible and Days of Thunder. He has TONS of money. She can spend like $100,000 and not even look at price tags or care. It is insane!! I just resisted a $20 shirt because I wasn't sure I would wear it that much. Wow!!

The bag id ridiculously oversized for an afternoon of shopping. Maybe if she was on foot in NYC and putting her packages in her bag, but you know she has a driver and assistant around to carry her stuff.

twinkle, love the robot! i gotta say i don't mind the skirt and shoes. i have always hated birkin bags so i must definitely throw up when i see this hideous oversized one but she could readily hide presents in there so when she gets photographed people can't look at pap pics and see what they got. i agree ginger, unneccessary. the turtleneck is wayyyy too old lady. odd how her turtleneck matchs toms from yesterday. strange............

good night!! i mean, i am all for giant bags. and i am all for hermes. but this however, is just uncalled for!! it really does look ridic. maybe posh would just look better with it because, well, she's just posh. but this bag + katie holmes = no good!!

very forced most of the time. and way too "precious" and self important. there's something attractive about someone who's not so "put together". 2/3 of the world lives on less than one dollar A DAY. it's a shame someone would spend $10,000 on a handbag.

I have to say, while she is trying to hard and the bag is slightly excessive, I otherwise love her look here. I mean - the shoes are FABULOUS!

The only thing I would change is to take off those ridiculous pockets and put some some gloss with a hint of berry on her lips.

Don't forget the hair. If you were going to fix her up, making the ends look less scraggly would help.
