For the second year in a row, Kid Rock spent his Christmas performing for US troops overseas. This time he was joined by fellow celebrities such as Robin Williams, Lance Armstrong, Lewis Black, and Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith for an eight-day, seven-country tour. It's great to see that Kid was back again this year showing his support for all our forces overseas and joined by such a stellar group of stars. We love these celebrities even more when they're spending time bringing love and entertainment overseas. Of course, our thoughts, hearts, and holiday wishes go out to every single one of our troops. To see more photos from Kid's Christmas with the troops, check out his website.

and i thought that kid was bad... good for him
1why does it say "louis" in the text but in the headlines it says "lewis"...mistake
More celebs need to do this! These stars are awesome for going overseas to support our troops.
2My husband is in the military and just got back in time for Christmas from Afghanistan......I'm always pleased when celebrities take time during the holidays to visit the troops.
3Kid Rock is so fab! I love this guy!
4More celebs should do it. It's Kid Rock's second Christmas spent with troops, I believe. Gotta respect that.
5Way to go. Support the war, the killing of men, women and children....wow thats great!
6kid rock is totally cool. he's not the typical celeb bandwagon jumper; he's consistently been there for the troops, even when it's not the "stylish" thing to do.
he may have married a loser but at least he hasn't lost his heart.
7very cool....
8Lie- it's not about supporting the war. It's about supporting the frightened, lonely, brave soldiers overseas. They're doing great work fighting against terrorists, IEDs, car bombs, and other never-ending acts of violence. I'm just glad the vast majority isn't as cold-hearted as you towards service members.
9He isn't supporting the killing of innocent lives, he is supporting the troops. HUGE difference between supporting the troops and supporting the war. Troops have a trust that they won't be called to war unless it is NECESSARY. Our politicians, with access to information that is supposed to be dependable, make that decision for them, troops follow orders. Troops are legally obligated to follow those orders.
10The troops should return home. The rest of the world already knows this. Wake up America and stop watching Fox news!
11Well they're NOT home, are they? So they may as well have some celebrity visitors to lift their spirits while they're still on their mission. I really don't see what your problem with that is.
12I have a problem with their mission, thats why.
13Okay. But donating time to troops has nothing to do with their mission. So.....?
14i think it has.
15Love to read this! My husband just barely missed the Vandals (his favorite band ever) on NYE last time he was in Iraq. Here's hoping another thoughtful celeb like these guys brightens his holidays this time around.
16Uh huh... care to elaborate? So far you just seem young and angsty.
17Kid Rock...well rocks! Good for him, and yay for for the troops! A slice of home to lift some spirits for a minute.
18That's awesome
19Many stars esp Hollywood should do this instead of bashing our country and belittling the job of our troops in Iraq.
20Now there's deaths in the Middle east the media decided to focus on the terrifying economy because they are running out of news to cover.
The news list of whine rack losers:
Ed Asner
Jen Aniston
Clooney
Jane Fonda
Ed Harris
Ed Norton
Maggie Gyllenhaal
Sean Penn
Madonna
Danny Glover - this guy hug Chavez who vowed to kill Americans.
(see how stupid some celebs are?????)
Jessica Lange
Richard Gere
Sheryl Crow
Martin Sheen
Julia Roberts
Michael Moore
Our troops dont play politics but they carry out orders by our Presidents. Without them keeping the Middle East safe Israel would have ended the world nuking its surrounding nations that hate them. We cant go to the malls, movies and dining out or even be here on Popsugar without the sacrifices of our men and women keeping our peace and freedom. My brother in the Air Force always said if some of this celebs whine and think they can do a better job then go to Iraq or better yet leave the U.S.
21Gone are the glorious All American days of Bob Hope and especially John Wayne helping our Govt. by citing the communists stars in Hollywood.
22Always good when we do things for the troops!
23thats good ;P
24gradjenks, just because people don't support the war doesn't mean they don't support the troops. That big list of names you posted is silly. I have not heard one thing where any of those people have belittled the troops.
It has been shown time and again that the Bush Administration lied their way to war. Congress approved it because they thought it was a dire need. The war should never have happened to begin with. However, now we have created such an unstable mess that we can't leave immediately.
Even George Bush Senior knew not to invade Iraq and take down Hussein. They documented why. Too bad his son didn't do some research before beginning his crusade. But Bush Jr is the commander in chief, and the military works because people follow orders. I don't fault them for doing their job, but I think it is only right that we get them out of harms way as soon as possible.
25gotta do what you're told.
26I agree with Foxie and others on this one, Lie.
These people are risking their lives for our country, and I bet you most of them don't even think we should be in the middle east, but they can't do anything about it just like you can't do anything about it.
Why not make these people's lives a bit better, since they're in a position that effing sucks, being away from loved ones, and having to witness violence and death all the time, for basically no reason.
Saying that helping the troops is supporting the war is like saying that a firefighter helping a member of the KKK from a burning building is wrong.
Just because you don't agree with what they do doesn't make them any less of a human with any less needs.
27people who say they support the troops and not the war are LIARS...id like THEM to go overseas and see for themselves the hell that our troops experience and THEN judge
28It's sick that America sends out their own men and women to kill or to be killed! If you support the troops you support the war. I feel sorry for the soldiers that doesnt want to fight but the most dangerous thing in the world is to take order from a leader and not think for yourself. I'll rather do time in prison or move to another country than go to war.
Why? Not to save myself but because I think war is awful and wrong. I wouldnt be able to live with myself if i killed an
innocent person.
The soldiers aren't herose! People who stands up and say NO are heroes.
I hope that Americans are smart enough to kick Bush out of the whitehouse next election so you can have your husbands and sons at home.
I do not hate America but i hate ur politics and your wars.
I'm sorry for my spelling. I'm Swedish. I'm glad that Sweden hasn't been in a war in 300 years and we wont in the future either. We belive in peace and solving problems with words.
29sweden darlin, youve got it ALL wrong....these are not mainly innocent people that are being killed over there (there are of course some civilian casualties) these are crazy psycho terrorists that LIVE to kill and plot against innocent AMERICANS! maybe youve heard of 9-11 in sweden? no one here is FOR war or killing innocent people! we ARE for protecting our country from harm and getting those that threaten our safety! and dont disrespect OUR soldiers! they ARE HEROES who are risking their own lives to protect ours! while solving problems with words is the ideal, you cant reason or TALK with messed up terrorists when all they want to do is KILL you! think about it! and please dont compare sweden to the USA, there really is no comparison!
30also, the guys who are going over and visiting them are heroes too!
31Yes there are terrorists but who many really? Most people who gets killed in war hasnt done anything.
32Lie, I have a hard time believing that you know what you're talking about. I mean, most AMERICAN civilians don't really know what they're talking about when they talk about the war. Take it from me, you have NO IDEA how bad of a situation it really is. It's not your job to know. So maybe before you run your mouth about how the Iraqis being killed are innocent, you should just admit to yourself that you're completely clueless. I'm not saying that as an insult, it's just the truth.
